      There are many ways to make money on the internet, the most common of which you listed. Others are paid partnerships, sponsorships, charging people to use the site (rarely successful), illegal methods (like spyware). Your best bet usually is building an audience and putting up ads, and experimenting to discover which ad model makes you the most money while annoying your audience the least.

If you don't have the money use Myspace and other social networking sites where you can place advertisements on your profile page and/or write an article related to the product you are promoting and submit it to the article directories and include your link in the resource box below the article (use http://www.shorturl.com or similar service) so people do not see it is an affiliate link.

You can also check out making a Squidoo page or a Hub Page that relates to your website.

      Another way to advertise your website is to join any forums where you think people would be interested in your website and put the link in your signature. Just be sure that you don't spam the forums and try to participate according to the rules of the forum.

      A great way that you can advertise your affiliate marketing website is through social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. These are free to make accounts on and then just spend a couple of days trying to find some friends that may be interested in your website.

      Maybe you should try something a little different than just promoting the link. Maybe you should try promoting yourself first. You know, as someone people can go to when they need help or information. Instead of placing an affiliate link, try promoting a webpage with a product review for your affiliate product. then give them a chance to join your mailing list by adding a contact form, requiring there name and email address. This take's a little while , but once you get a nice list of people, then you can earn there trust by delivering some solid info, and I promise they will by whatever product that you are selling.

      PPC (Pay Per Click) is one of the main ways affiliates drive traffic. Start with Yahoo search marketing, then move on to MSN Ad Center and Google Adwords - however, you might fail miserably if you don't know what you're doing. You'll probably want to research PPC strategies before you jump in and lose money. Try googling PPC guide or something.

      As far as free traffic - you can try article marketing. I make about 0 a day in completely free traffic - mainly from article marketing and video traffic.

      I don't know that particular system: its obviously either a) a scam or b) too advanced for you: can you get your money back.
      Don't buy anything in the first 6 months except for domains and hosting. You need knoweldge not a system. If you don't need a web building program, free trials or promotions. WordPress is easy to use, flexible well supported and FREE!
      You obviously don't really understand clickbank- the products there are for you to re-sell and get paid so obviously they all cost $. In my opinion you shouldn't be promoting products there unless you use them yourself -otherwise how can you ethically promote a product you don't use?

      Yahoo has a Yahoo Publishers Network http://publisher.yahoo.com/ which is similar to Adsense where publishers can earn money by displaying advertising. It is open, however, only for US publishers as they require tax account number.

      In my opinion, the best way for you to advertise your affiliate links is... not to advertise them.
      Sound weird, I know, but here is the logic of it:
      1) If you are willing to spend the time into keyword research and risk using Google Adwords (the most popular form of PPC advertising) then you are not allowed to send the clicks directly to an affiliate link.
      2) People don't like to be marketed to so they are less likely to buy from you if you send them directly to an affiliate link.
      3) People will buy from you (more) if they know, like and trust you.

      The best way for you to go about your affiliate marketing business is to give people something of value (to them) before you ask them to part with their money. Let them get to know you, like you and trust you. remember: stats show that it takes at least 5 contacts before people would buy from you. Here are some ideas on how to go about doing that:
      1) Setup a review site for the product you are promoting and give an honest, not "salesy" review.
      2) Write articles that give good and useful information on the subject.
      3) Start a blog.
      4) Create a short free report, setup a squeeze page and get people to sign up for your list. Market to them there.

      When you have chosen your path and have setup everything, it's time to send traffic to your website/pages. There are many ways to do that - some are paid methods and some are free - some are quick ways and some may take a while for the traffic to build up.
