One of the best Internet marketing strategies to promote or sell your affiliate product is article marketing. If we try to do a query on some of the successful Internet marketers of today, we will definitely find out that article marketing is one effective tool that they usually use to drive targeted traffic to their affiliate products.
In affiliate Internet marketing, web traffic is a primordial consideration. It is basic knowledge that web traffic equates to affiliate sales, a sales wouldn't be made if no one will be able to take a look at your affiliate products, their features and uses. It is sometimes complicated to generate web traffic; however, article marketing comes into the picture.
Article marketing is a very simple method to implement and is considered to be one of the most effective Internet marketing strategies there is. All you have to do is to write as much articles as you can and put links within the body of your articles pointing to the product that you are promoting or selling. You, then, have to post your articles to the top article directories online.
Of course, the articles that must be written should be informative and of high quality for these to be syndicated by webmasters looking for contents to be placed on their respective websites. The more of your articles that get syndicated across the Internet, the more links will be pointing to your affiliate products.
Some of the most well-known article directories to publish your written articles to are EzineArticles.com, GoArticles.com, IdeaMarketers.com and ArticlesBase.com. You must first submit to these sites because they get thousands of site visitors every month looking for worthwhile articles for their own websites. One of the key Internet marketing strategies to maximize the use of your written articles is to publish these also to your blog.
Keep in mind, however, that article marketing doesn't work with just a few articles. In order to make your affiliate products visible on the Internet, you should write hundreds of these. A technique in order to increase your "article views" and make it easier for your articles to be found is to apply search engine optimization (SEO) on your articles. This is done by including keywords usually used by Internet users in finding information on the Net through search engines.
Some of the successful article marketers have been able to write thousands of articles which let them drive targeted web traffic to their affiliate products.

QUESTION:
When promoting an affiliate product through article marketing...?
...should one put a link in the "article resource box" to one's affiliate-marketing blog for that product, or directly to the vendor's sales page?-
ANSWER:
Hi John,You could certainly do either of those but normally I'd recommend linking to your own site as you have much more control over it.
Firstly, many people sending people straight to the vendor will include an ugly looking affiliate url in the bio box. This then shouts 'affiliate link' and so many people will not click it just for that reason. You could of course use a redirect script to get around that problem.
Secondly, sending a visitor straight to the vendor means you lose any chance of collecting the visitors information so you can promote to them again in the future whereas sending them to your own site or even directly to your own squeeze page gives you this chance.

QUESTION:
Can someone help me how to start earning with Affiliate Marketing?
I read an article who mentioned affiliate marketing as one of the best ways on how to earn online. I am looking for a tutorial or anything that explains me about affiliate marketing. Thanks in advance.-
ANSWER:
Learn Affiliate Marketing – 3 Tips on Promoting Other People’s ProductsMany people decide to learn affiliate marketing when beginning to make money online. This is a great way to begin, as you are simply promoting other people’s product, and usually earning a nice commission for doing so. With affiliate marketing, you don’t have to deal directly with customers and you can get your feet wet into the world of marketing before moving on to create your own products.
Below are 3 tips that can help you learn affiliate marketing in order to do it correctly.
Do your Research
You should not enter a niche or promote a product blindly. To have the most success in affiliate marketing, you must know how to thoroughly research a market to determine its needs. Market research will show you what niches contain desperate buyers ready to pay for an answer to their problems. Keyword research is also important in creating content and getting traffic to your site. If you just write articles and blogs with no keywords, how is anyone supposed to find them?
Avoid Direct Linking
Unless the product you are trying to sell has an extraordinary sales page that converts like hotcakes, you should not try to direct link. Direct link is where you include your affiliate link (or a domain forwarded to your affiliate link) in the resource box of an article. Creating a landing page and linking to it will allow you to “pre-sell” your visitor by giving them more information on the solution to their problem.
Affiliate Marketing can be Done for Free
Some people will tell you that you should dive right into Pay Per Click advertising if you want to make money, but this isn’t exactly true. While PPC is a great moneymaker, you can also lose a lot of cash if you do not do it correctly. It is recommended that you learn affiliate marketing using free methods when first beginning, in order to have money to reinvest in tools and programs that can help teach you the paid advertising aspects that you can incorporate in the future. Article, video, and forum marketing are three ways you can begin making money from other people’s product absolutely free.

QUESTION:
Hi. I am a newbie with this affiliate marketing. Would you recommend Instant Article Writing software?
Writing is one of the skills I am lacking and looks like IAW is my answer. I am also interest in article rewriting software for article spinner. Do you use these software and would you recommend them?-
ANSWER:
Hey there, I would strongly recommend writing your own articles for original content. The only problem with articles writing software and spinners is that there's no way they can attract organic traffic from search engines (trust me I've tried it). Automatically generated articles are easy to spot and since search engines like google have been 'wising up' in recent times its almost for certain that your work on your site wont get indexed at all - so there goes your chances of getting any traffic to your site. If you're looking for some specific guide lines on fresh content generation then please my blog and do some reading - hope that will clear some obstacles. The link is:

QUESTION:
How do I link to a webpage on my blog so that every time it is updated so is my blog for affiliate marketing?
Basically i am doing affiliate marketing on my blog and i would like to link to the page so it gives the title and description of that particular page. And when they change the affiliate item, or add a new article my blog automatically updates as well.-
ANSWER:
Hi Amber, well you can't really control what the marketer does with their product on their website. If they change the product, you will have to change your affiliate link. I am not aware of any automatic scripts or blog plug ins that can automatically change your link. Here are a couple of very cool ways to kind of hide your affiliate link so that it does not appear as an affiliate link. You will need to have your own domain and hosting setup. These will work if you are using blogger.com or a hub-page but you need at least one domain hosted in order to make the scripts work.
1. Create a new directory on your domain and name it something. Free or Cool Offer, etc.
Copy the code below into notepad (Not Microsoft Word!) and name the file index.php. Where you see location, place your affiliate link. When somebody clicks on your link, they will go to the file, index.php and it will automatically redirect the web user to the affiliate link. This works very well with Clickbank offers, etcheader( 'Location: http://www.yoursite.com/new_page.html' ) ;
?>2. If you are using wordpress to blog with on a domain you own with hosting, download a plug in named "pretty links". You can download it here:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pretty-link/
You grab your affiliate link and it will automatically create a hidden link for people to click on.
These are the best ways I know of to put affiliate links into your blog and keep them hidden so people do not hijack them.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

QUESTION:
When article marketing is it better to send someone to a capture page or straight to the affiliate site?
I realize that long term it's better to capture the lead for repeat sales and such and since many people have to see something multiple times before they buy. But is there a trade-off to having people get turned off by a capture page that may have bought the product if they had gone straight to the affiliate site? If they're coming from an article, they might be looking for the solution and ready to buy right now, but the capture page might turn them off. Has anyone tested this extensively? Would be great to see numbers rather than just "this is what I think" with no testing to back it up. Thanks.-
ANSWER:
You should be building links to your own business rather than to build for the merchant. Also it will not be easy to reverse the entire process should the merchant stops offering the affiliate program. There are 2 schools of thoughts and I applied both:
1) Send straight to optin page. You will need to write an engaging resource box to tell them why they should go to your url. It's usually a free report on how to solve their problems. This way, they are more likely to give their personal information.
2) Send traffic to your inner pages for SEO link-building benefits from an authoritative site eg. ezinearticles. Also you can have optin box at the side to get them to sign up for your freebies.
There are marketers making tons of money just by working on exclusively one method. In internet marketing, there are always many ways to skin the cat

QUESTION:
Where to Advertise for affiliate marketing?
So i have gotten into online affiliate marketing selling e books. I have wrote a few articles on what im selling on a few popular article sites, and have also created a website using webs.com. But im wondering where else can i advertise my link for my product? Any forums where i can include it in my signature or good sites to make a page or write an article on? Any help is greatly appreciated. Also a place to advertise a ref link for a ptc.
-
ANSWER:
You need to be a bit more specific here. Are these E Books that you have written yourself, and what are they about? If the work is original I would opt for Clickbank as a starting point, so that you can get affiliates to sell for you. the downside of this is that you will have to pay high commissions (up to 75%). You can try and do a search for relevant forums by typing say "forum+keyword" in Google. (keyword being the subject of your Ebook.)

Affiliate Marketing on zero budget... is it possible?
I've been reading various articles on affiliate marketing and have come to the conclusion that PPC click advertising is the most popular method... but know from experience that this can be VERY expensive and wasteful if you don't optimize your advertising campaign well enough!!How can I generate hits to affiliate websites with no cash!!... sneaky underhanded methods are welcome - if only for good reading!!

Affiliate Marketing on Zero budget for advertising is called "bum marketing" and there are many affiliate marketers who have become very successful at it. It involves Article writing, social networking (web 2.0), issuing free press releases, using free clasified ads etc. There is a small catch. You are going to need tools, software, training and support to become successful. You can spend a lot of money acquiring everything you need different web sites. Or you can join a reputable membership program that includes everything with the cost of membership. They usually run around 30 dollars per month. There is a lot to know. You need to know about the product you are promoting, so once you decide on one, it's a good idea to buy it and read the entire thing so you can write articles about it. You need to have specific keywords in your articles as well. If you have no idea what I am talking about, you probably need to join an educational/support site that will help you to learn the skills you need to become proficient in affiliate marketing.

QUESTION:
EMBED AFFILIATE LINKS IN DOMAIN NAME?
Hello friends, I am a newbie in the field of internet marketing. I intent to initiate article marketing with affiliate links embedded in the resource box. But article directories do not permit to put direct affiliate links in their resource box. For instance ezinearticle says:
EzineArticles.com Editorial Guidelines: (AFFILIATE PROGRAMS):Affiliate links will be allowed if the link is a domain name you own which forward/redirects to the affiliate link from the top-level of the domain name. For example, it is permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:
http://your-company-name.com/
...but it would not be permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:
http://your-company-name.com/page.html
http://your-company-name.com/subdirectory/
http://your-company-name.com/subdirectory/page.html
http://sub-domain.your-company-name.com/Any article with an affiliate link that does not adhere to this guideline will cause the article to be rejected.
Now my questions are: 1.would a free domain name from blogger.com do?
2. Is it possible to embed affiliate links in my domain, so that each time one clicks the domain name would be send directly to the vendor’s website instead of my blog. I want to use my domain name as a bridge between my articles and the vendor’s websites. If it is possible how can I do it?

PUTTING AFFILIATE LINKS IN SUB-DOMAIN NAME?
Hello friends, I am a newbie in the field of internet marketing. I intent to initiate article marketing with affiliate links embedded in the resource box. But article directories do not permit to put direct affiliate links in their resource box. For instance ezinearticle says:

3.Do article directories allow it?
4. Is it legit?
THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWER.
N.B. ANSWER IF YOU KNOW IT VERY WELL.-
ANSWER:
With Ezine I would just put the link to your blog and forward from there. You can try a redirect with them but a lot of times if the page isn't a top level page then they won't accept it. Although, I have seen people use redirects and get away with it. I never have though. They must be kissing some ass or something. Other article directories will allow it but read the guidelines first to avoid a lot of rejection.Another thing you can do is buy a cheap domain name from godaddy and 'mask' your affiliate link with your new domain name. This will force your new domain url to stay in view instead of the vendors url. Some companies do not allow this though but it will be stated in their 'affiliate contract'. Godaddy makes it easy to mask the url. For instance my http://enlightenment-course.com is my masked url...and http://enlightenmentcourse.com is the actual vendors url. I just added a dash between the words.
I wouldn't use blogger because you could lose those domain names down the road and then your 'bridge' would be lost. It would work for right now though.
I own my own websites and this is the page redirect I use:
content="0;url=affiliate link here">
optional text here
Good luck!

QUESTION:
Can You Really Make a Living from ClickBank?
I have been doing affiliate marketing using Clickbank.
I have wrote over 300 articles and submitted them to ezinearticles and now I am getting 100 UV a day and making 0-0 month. Can you really make a living with Clickbank and article marketing?
I do not have squeeze pages, not email capture only a landing page with some content with a link to the vendor page.
Can you really make a living with Clickbank? if so, how?
-
ANSWER:
It seems like you already know what to do. I mean, if you can make 0, then that is good. Most affiliates can not even make 1 sale. Well, the ones who are able to make a living do SEO. What they do is make backlinks and then Google detects them and then their page rank increases. Eventually they get to the #1 spot on the Google search, that is pretty much the jackpot right there. Being at the #1 spot gets tons of free traffic. I've seen alot of #1 spots being websites that are just blogs, doesn't even have to be a real paid domain such as these 2 -->http://zygor-guide.blogspot.com/

QUESTION:
I need opinions about Affiliate Marketing prospects.?
I have started working with a few programs that offer Affiliate Marketing training, and was inundated with so much information that I was overwhelmed and haven't started any blog or web site yet. I'm not sure which programs I should stay with and which I should cancel because they don't seem too helpful.Do any of you professionals have advice for me as to the process and priorities, as well as which programs are the best?
I have a web site that I want to promote under children's safety: http://www.keep-safelockbox.com, and thought I would add links and maybe a page for articles on keeping children safe. However, I also want to have a blog or web site for retirees with several pages on different subjects that can promote other affiliates. Which is better--a blog or web site for that purpose?
Thanks for any help.
Edie-
ANSWER:
The most successful affiliate websites are those websites that choose affiliate programs that their audience need and want. Affiliate programs work best if they are integrated into the site -- not the main and only focus of the site. This is especially true for affiliate programs that even provide web pages to their affiliates -- which means that if they have 1,000 affiliates then you will have 999 competitors offering the same products with the same exact website (with a minor variations here and there). Plus, you will be competing with the main company as well.
Think of Amazon.com and its affiliate program. There are hundreds of thousands of Amazon affiliates selling books and other products for Amazon. If the site owner simply creates a website with books of Amazon -- without some value added -- people will not bother to visit his site. So income will be minimal at most.
The key is for your site to create value added that visitors will want to come that is unique. If visitors will want to buy books, for example, why would they come to YOU instead of going straight to Amazon? Why go to an affiliate when they can go to the real deal?
You're on the right track with your plan to include articles (the more original the better). If you want to promote several affiliates, think of a theme for your site that will link them together -- or create different websites.
The benefit of a website relative to a blog is the flexibility in terms of layout that it provides. Blogs are more limited.

Most of the articles say that you should find your own "niche" that you know about or an area of interest that you have a passion in. I have always been interested in the topic of "dating and seduction." But I have come to face some problems that I find rather discouraging:1) Even though I like this embarrassing topic, I don't know if it is something that sells.
2) How can an art form like this compete against the technological world of digital products (something that I feel indifferent towards, but is something that I think would greatly sell)-cameras, computers, ipods, etc.?
3) I know there are a few ebooks on this topic already, but I also know of websites that one can go to in order to find all this type of material for free (because that's what I used to do), so can't my target audience just do the same thing?
Please answer questions if can. Thank you.

QUESTION:
how often should an internet marketer be producing new content?
A full time freelancer who writes new articles , uses affiliate marketing etccan someone give me an example of a good schedule with tasks
-
ANSWER:
Every single day is a good strategy but to be honest as long as it is 2 or 3 times a week then it should be ok. I recently didn't blog for 2 weeks and my ranking went from 38 to 850+ for my keyword and then when I started posting 2 or 3 times a week it went back to around 40.Interestingly a period of daily posting made no difference to my ranking so I would say 2 to 3 times a week is the minimum.

QUESTION:
Internet Marketing + Traffic Question?
Hi, I need to get 33 visitors per day to my (first) website, for my goals to be reached, is that a lot, normal, or a little? I have been studying internet marketing for about 6 months now, but I never had the time to start my own website, but now I have, so if I know this much, do you think that I will be able to get 33 visitors per days?
I will be doing social media marketing, I will pay affiliates to promote my website, some SEO, and article marketing. Do you have any tips?Thank You!!!!
-
ANSWER:
Just do it what you know and set a time limit to reach your goal. It is about one small milestone at a time.Thinking about wanting to do something is easy. Keep browsing everyday reading this and that is easy. Making a plan is almost easy. It is the action part of going thru the plan and dealing with our emotion after getting the result is not the easy part. Try doing that if you want to know what I mean. And only then you know whether you got what it takes.
Some people only notice this about them after a few years. Others won't even notice it because they just quit. So it is better to know about it quicker.

QUESTION:
How do I create an affiliate website?
In order to join an affiliate program with products or companies I like, I need a website and company name. I have just got a domain name and registered with a hosting site and I am looking into building my site. However, I am unsure of how to create a site or sites for affiliate marketing, because I don't know what it ought to consist of. If for example it was a natural health product, could I only write an article about it with a picture and then join its affiliate program, or is there more to it than that? What sort of a site do you need to join an affiliate program? Thanks.-
ANSWER:
Some (if not most) affiliate marketing programs will want you to submit your website URL to them and if you don't have any content yet and a record of traffic they may not approve your site. You could do a product review, but usually the sites with the best traffic will have a theme (health, travel, pets, beauty, etc. as a few examples) and then write content and perhaps have affiliate links to numerous products. You might want to take a look at Squidoo if you haven't already. It provides you with a place to create a free webpage (called a lens) about any topic (G-rated) and you can apply for many affiliate marketing programs using your Squidoo pages as your website. You can often leave the company name blank or just use your name as your company. Here is an example of a lens that is informative and interesting, but also includes several affiliate links related to the topic: http://www.squidoo.com/Seattle-Pike-Place-Market
The important thing is to try to make your affiliate links appear relevant and helpful, but not overly spammy. You can also earn money directly from Squidoo with Amazon and eBay modules and if your lens receives enough traffic, you can also earn from the Squidoo ad pool. You won't get rich quick, but over time as you create more and more pages and learn how to write better and better content, it is possible to earn a fairly nice amount every month. Here's a link to get started: http://www.squidoo.com/lensmaster/referral/VickiSims. If you would like more information, you are welcome to contact me through Yahoo answers.

QUESTION:
Deadbeat Super Affiliate help?
Affiliate marketing is brand new to me and I've got a few possibly silly questions after buying/reviewing Deadbeat Super Affiliate. Are you supposed to register as an affiliate with Amazon? or with Clickbank? or?
Amazon says they review and approve/reject your advertising site...so should you post the first article beFORE signing up with amazon?
Say I sign up for awesomereviews.com as my main domain. Would I then sign up for other domains for each niche like uggbootsarecool.com (linking back to the main one) and then different articles on those sites linking back? or Would I just create new databases on the main awesomereviews.com site for each niche?
I've never done anything like this and I think I have confused myself on exactly where to begin. I followed the steps in the Core Training, and I've purchased a domain (which has nothing to do with any niches...it's a music site for personal use) and I was about to sign up for a new domain with the first niche I wanted to try and link it back. Just not sure on which one to post my articles and where/when to sign up to start making sales.
Would I give the Amazon affiliate application form the url to my personal/music domain? or to my niche domain?
Why is a domain name 0-00 on enom.com but only .99 on Godaddy.com?
Does anyone recommend getting just a .com, or is it best to get .com, .net and .org if possible for each niche? OR do you get all three for the main site and then just link all niches back?Any sort of guidance would be graciously appreciated!
-
ANSWER:
Yes you are supposed to register with Amazon or clickbank in order to start your affiliate marketing career. They are the one who will pay you the commission. You can also register yourself to any other merchant that offer affiliate program for example comission junction, cj.com linkshare, linkshare.com etc.
Amazon is the easiest merchant to be accepted to its affiliate program.A simple web site will work.
If the purpose of the other website is just to linking back to your main website, then i don't think it is necessary to register for new domain.you can just create a blogspot, linkedin, stumbleupon, reddit, weebly, hubpages, ezinearticle etc. to link your main domain. However you have to achor text your main domain in each of your newly created account on each site i mentioned.
Domain name is expensive due to high demand. for example domain name like makemoneyonline.com is for sure of high demand. In fact the domain is owned by other people and the price is determined by the owner of the domain... On the other hands, Godaddy is cheaper because your are going to register a domain which has not previously registered.
.net .org is also working..

QUESTION:
How to promote online dating sites as an affiliate using free traffic?
I'm a newbie to affiliate marketing & I've been studying this since a month. I'm trying to promote a dating website as an affiliate & I've signed up for a pay per lead program (i get paid if some one signs up for free) Now i dono how to promote this using free traffic! I've tried facebook groups but even though people join the group (they click the link) but they dont sign up for the website. So i thought of using squidoo but then they consider my article as spam & not letting it to publish. So now what should i do? should i go for blogging??? or free website (weebly)?? if blogging is the option how can i promote it? sholud i have to write articles about dating tips or review about websites? but these are the usual.. They dont seem to work now i guess.. Any other great new ideas guys??? I need your help. Anyhelp, ideas, suggestions etc are welcome. hope you can guide me.. thank you!-
ANSWER:
You could sign up on dating forums and put your URL in your forum sig, make some posts (not spam) and you would be surprised how much traffic that can bring you and it would be targeted traffic - people with an interest in your niche - it can bring a good conversion rate with it. You could always pay someone to post for you if you prefer. Also, make sure you are promoting your site well with off page SEO eg gaining backlinks through blog commenting (on relevant blogs), directory submissions, perhaps write and submit dating articles to article directories etc. Doing this should improve your SERPS ratings and bring you organic search engine traffic.

QUESTION:
How Do You Become A Good Affiliate Marketer? I've tried and tried but can't do it....?
I'm not asking to make 50-100k a month as many of these affliliate marketers claim they make. I've tried squidoo.com, I've tried many of the article sites and note, I've made several squidoo lens and wrote many articles. I just can't seem to get it....I've done back links, tried forums, posting on CL (yuck btw) and luck is not on my side. I've been at this for almost a year now and at most made 1,000 in a month from posting on CL. You know, my goal is to be able to make a good amount of money and get this house for my family. My 5yr old son told me the other day, "Daddy, when can we get a house with a backyard because I don't like moving from apartment to apartment." I used to make pretty decent money in the car business till I came down with a severe case of bipolar. None the less, it made it almost impossible for me to work. Anyway, I'm seeking some help here....I am very dedicated to affiliate marketing and try hard but I just need some mentoring. And please, if you really are interested in helping me then I thank you but if you are just going to leave a link to your website, you're wasting your time.Thank You and have a great day!

QUESTION:
Having 10 link out of the best website in the search engine to get traffic is a good idea or not?
I have a website based on affiliate marketing named www.successasaffiliate.com and for the same I have about 200 very high quality keywords.
So I am thinking if I include first 10 website links into my article for all my keywords.
Will that make a difference in the my traffic generation.-
ANSWER:
Correct my understanding if I'm wrong, you mean you intend to include links in the article that you are going to submit?Sure it is a good idea, but most article sites only allow a link to your main site in your authors bio box.
Traffic generation wise, I'm not sure article is going to contribute much. Unless you are talking about using the links to gain an advantage in your search position, then this method is gonna help.

QUESTION:
Website help. Marketing affiliates etc?
I'm about to launch a classified websiteMy business adviser is through the enterprise but he is not an (IT) expert
I have purchased the domain name for my classified site with go daddy and the site is about ready to upload to the servers, I was wondering if anyone can kindly offer me some help on how to make a good amount of income from this website and how to best market it etc.
I have a Google Adsense account, plus Bidvertiser and I'm now an affiliate for commission junction and Clickbank.I am willing to join any other affiliates ppc advertising etc to enhance/boost revenue.
I have already seen leads in my cj account from another website I have that is a niche community site that has been going for just over a year and has 765 members to date. Its kind of like a mini Myspace/Faceparty with the option for members to upgrade their accounts to premium.profile uploading, pictures videos blogs etc
I am very enthusiastic flexible and learn quickly.
Below is a link of the sort of website I am going to launch
http://www.shoofi-mafi.com/en/index.php
Obviously my site will be for midlands (uk) members but the above link is an idea of how the site should look and feel.
I shall also be adding forums for members to interact more and so enables me to build up an email database for newsletters
I shall be offering incentives to advertise by way of cash prizes this way hopefully boosting my traffic to the site
I'm fed up of trying to search for IT help just to be told to click on links to peoples sites which is obviously in hope that you will click their ppc adverts or buy an expensive ebook from them and gain them money.
Please could someone train and mentor me to success, (IF) I can only make a small amount of money from this one site I am prepared to copy the idea to other areas of the UK to gain more revenue.the sky is the limit
Thanks for reading this article and please buzz me for advice and if you would like to be my mentor.
I look forward to hearing from you savvy clever IT folk in helping me on this journey
Does anyone know if its possible to make a reasonable living just off one or two of these types of websites if the marketing is done correctly etc
thank you for your time
Kind regards
ok. to all the people commenting that are leaving links to their sites please stop!!look at this section here i wrote in my original message
I'm fed up of trying to search for IT help just to be told to click on links to peoples sites which is obviously in hope that you will click their ppc adverts or buy an expensive ebook from them and gain them money.
And i am truly fed up with this!!
let me explain again the sort of answers i would like,
very simple this!
i would like someone to say for example, " ok listen if you go here and grab a bit of code from this affiliate then put it here in your website and generate traffic you will make x amount"
not just random links to peoples sites making money from adsense and their own affailate sites.
i hope this is clear enough.
i would like to know info on places such as e-business club and other sites that offer free advice and do not ask you to get your credit card out at the end of the blog/forum landing page etc. thank you..
i have also tried the spiderweb and it is not for me because they do actually ask for money to buy a domain and basically unless you do there is not much chance of making any moneyi am doing my own website but it is only for one area and not globally, its a classified site for the midlands area, no point in people posting info and adverts from usa because it is too far away etc.
plus i would like to avoid scams so if anyone can give advice there, please help in these questions i have posted
thanks

ANSWER:
Online classifieds are a very competitive niche. I'd recommend that you use traditional advertising to generate traffic locally, then grow from there nationally using print classifieds. For a relatively small fee you can advertise nationally using classifieds. Because you are going to have a broad range of products or topics to promote, your central message will likely have to be "onine classifieds" or "free classifieds", instead of a specific product.
Then from there build your site awareness. You've got your work cut out for you. However if you have the resources hire an outside firm to handle your marketing. However, your in a profitable business model if you can grow your site's popularity.

QUESTION:
What Ways Are You Generating Traffic?
I asked the question a couple days ago, "what software or online programs are you using to generate traffic?" I got several answers but not what I'm looking for so let me clarify. If you are doing article marketing, what type of article submission software are you using? If you are doing affiliate marketing, what affiliate program do you use? If you are doing video marketing, what software do you use to submit your videos to various sites? Etc... I'm not looking for a certain method or strategy but the tools used that compliment the strategy. Thanks!-
ANSWER:
For article marketing, I will usually submit the articles manually because it only involve about 10 to 20 of my favorite article directories.I would suggest you to use Article Submitter Platinum if you want to automate the process. Good luck.

I'm an unsuccessful affiliate I need help?
I have been looking for ways to promote my website and promote products with and without the website.I have a few articles I placed a guzilion ads on craigslist and backpage I made a few comments on forums I squidooed and I made two sales when I first started without all the above just had about 5 ads on craigslist then and no website.
BTW I am not posting my websites here for the simple reason you all may think I'm trying to use this to promote, but no I am looking for advice from real successful affiliates not oppinions of non affiliates please.I need a good answer no fluff or silly remarks I'm new to affiliate marketing.
-Ron-
ANSWER:
Hi Ron. When things get tough get back to basics. It seems like you are moving in the right direction, either way let us go through the check list.
1. You are the foundation of your marketing plan. Not your product or your website. All of that is enterchangeable(one word). But you will always be Ron. Focus on telling your story.
Do your best to tell a rags to riches story(i.e. "I am a 28 year old college dropout that works from home") Don't make it up, just be genuine.
2. All of your traffic needs to be driven to a lead capture page.
Which should be very simple. A headline, a video, and a place to collect info:name, phone, email. Nothing more. You can use aweber for your autoresponder. Why is this so important? You must be able to have a connection with your customers. Plus you need to track how many people "opt" in. At first I would send people to my site. But I would get frustrated when I made no sales. It is important to look at your numbers.>>>TIP OF THE DAY: Most companies will hand you a lead capture page or a replicated page, but you need to make your own. Why? Most convert like crap. In the end you are really trying to get these people to "opt" in. Hence the "offer". You must entice people give them something,a free ebook,a conference call, at the very least free training.
That should help your click through rate.
3.Understand your target audience. The vast majority are going to be new blood. So concentrate your energy where it is needed. No forum marketing. No cold calling. Do not waste your time selling existing internet marketers. Because both of you believe you have the best system in the world. The only exception is if you are selling a much needed tool like an autoposter. In which case that opens up your audience. Also do not waste time talking to people trying to get you to join there programs. No phone calls,no visiting websites. It is an outdated technique and if they are still using it you should run,FAST!
4. Now back you. When marketing yourself people must see the value in you. They should be jumping to buy what you are selling. Here is how you get instant creditbility. Teach them something. Which sounds better "I can show you how to make money!" or "The way to get better conversion rates on Craigslist is to post a clickable image. USE ALL CAPS, and ask ??? for your headlines they will quickly grab attention and increase your clicks. Which in turn will make you more money."
I could go on for days, and I didn't even cover video the hottest trend today. Either way make sure you have good sources of information. I am building a free training office on facebook. If you like join my group:http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=14212293390
Last piece of advice you are not an affiliate. You are an internet marketer! Good luck.

QUESTION:
How to become online marketing manager without a real job experience?
Well experience is already given as I have been doing PPC campaigns, article marketing,e-mail marketing as a freelance for 2 years now,but the fact is companies dont even give you a chance to listen you, they are condemn you unheard, unless you dont have 5-10 years experience.
On the other hand I don't understand those of who has few years experience why they are taking real jobs and labouring working 9-5 they could work from home making nice bucks.Online affiliates don't even bother to answer here, making visitors to their merchant websites
-
ANSWER:
Focus on presenting the 'result's' you've gotten...ex:
1) # of page 1 or position 1 positions on Google
2) volume of traffic
3) income generated
4) previously satisfied customers
5) and your unique selling position...what makes you different compared to other 'online marketing managers'? Do you have a special angle? A special story? Stand out, be noticed, be yourself, and learn how to build rapport quickly with a prospective interviewer. Also don't let them smell desperation or lack of confidence...they can smell that on you like a dog smells fear. Learn how to anchor a very useful/resourceful head space when engaging the interview setting either on the phone or in person.
oh and btw, those with a few years experience may be looking for an offline work setting as they miss the 'team environment'...it certainly shouldn't be from a lack of opportunity online...there is still a ton of it out there.

ANSWER:
Affiliate programs uses a simple concept for you to create an income online: Earn commissions when you make a sale. You don't need to worry about the costs for setting up the business nor advertising. It costs zero! When we think of successful online businesses, websites such as: Amazon.com (biggest online bookstore), eBay.com (largest auction website), Yahoo.com (most well-known search engine) usually spring into mind. On the contrary, you probably have heard of dot-com companies turned dot-bombs. So you think, “How do I make money on the internet when I don’t have money to advertise like those big guys such as Amazon.com or Yahoo.com?”… Well, you don’t need money to make money! There are several ways to make money through the internet, and one of them is through affiliate programs. Best of all, it costs nothing to sign up!
“What are affiliate programs? Isn’t it just another get-rich quick plot or some hocus-pocus that’s all a scam?”
Affiliate programs (also known as referral/associate programs) are legitimate and not get-rich-quick scams. It’s a simple concept: Earn commission for each sale you make. As a matter of fact, even big guys like Amazon.com launched affiliate programs to fuel their sales and to increase their brand, hence that further proves my point that affiliate programs aren’t scams.
How Affiliate Programs Work…
Using Amazon.com as an example, here’s an illustration on how affiliate programs work…
An affiliate (let’s call her ‘Lily’) owns a website about movie-making, so she chose a few books related to her website including the best-seller “How to Write a Hollywood Movie Script in 5 minutes!”
Lily then puts unique links to each of these books on her website that enables Amazon to identify the visitor she sends. One of Lily’s visitors was so impressed by Lily’s review on the book “How to Write a Hollywood Movie Script in 5 minutes!” that she wanted to buy it immediately, the visitor then saw “Buy it now on Amazon.com!”…. CLICK!
The visitor enters the Amazon site, Amazon identifies this visitor is from Lily. The visitor then checks out with the book and pays using credit card. Lily is paid a commission on that sale!
Affiliate Programs vs. Selling Your Own Products on the Web
Sure enough as a web merchant, you get 100% of the profits made. But you will have to fuss with start-up costs, advertising, marketing, shipping, credit-card processing, products/ services to maintain, customer services, customer complaints, web hosting, accounting, staff training…
Phew! That’s a lot work! But…
As an affiliate, you don’t need your own products to sell; you don’t need to incur the costs: Your start-up cost is zero; and you don’t have to deal with the customers’ orders or accounting or all the above because the merchant will handle all these for you. In some affiliate programs, you can also recruit and train sub-affiliates under you. Your training pays off when your sub-affiliate gets a sale, because you earn ‘training commission’ too. I’ll get more in-depth about this later in the article.
“But I’m not a computer or internet-savvy person! I don’t have a website too!”
Don’t worry! An effective affiliate finds thousands of ideas to sell online, or offline! You can advertise locally in newspapers, in articles you write, recommend it to friends, notice boards, etc… There are no limits.
“Great! How do I start?”
As easy as it sounds, I’m sad to say that it’s not a piece of cake if you plan to sit there and wait for the cash to come to you. In the affiliate business, it follows the 80-20 rule – 80% of the benefit is only achieved by 20% of the affiliates. So if you want to get rich quick, affiliate program isn’t for you… but if you want to be one of the 20% affiliates who get 80% of the benefit… read on.
First of all, ask yourself why you want to start an affiliate business on the internet…
“Um… to earn some cash and buy things I want”
No, I want you to be as specific as possible…
For example, “I want to increase my income so that I can afford a sports car and have the ultimate sense of pride when I drive into the yard of my friends who said that I will never succeed in making money on the internet! I want my friends to be envious; I want to prove them wrong!”
When you know what you want and the more specific you get, the stronger your commitment, determination and persistence to succeed will be.
I know it sounds really corny, but it is a simple rule that the 80% affiliates don’t follow!
Secondly, you must…
Choose a Good Affiliate Program
There are many affiliate programs out there but you need to focus on the ones that work for you. I suggest a few good criteria to look for in affiliate programs:
1) High-value products/services
When I said ‘value’, I don’t mean the price tag. Let’s say, you are an affiliate for 2 companies which are in similar industries, both offering 30% commission. One sells its product for and the other for

QUESTION:
Are there any other ways to make residual income instead of the following?( And do not have a big layout-cash)?
affiliate marketing, writing ebooks, writing articles such as ehow, real estate , insurance comissions, blog, parking lot, laundry matt, vending, storage units, stock market, websites, like -google adsense or similiar sites, you-tube,MLM. Not interested in anybodys website. Just need general categories I can explore related to generating residual income. Thanks in advance-
ANSWER:
The only residual income opportunities that do not require a big investment are website creation and internet marketing. You could also write novels and collect royalty checks for the rest of your life, but if you are not big on writing...If you don't want to do websites, then you need to think of a business plan, save some money, and then start a business. Don't expect it to just generate passive income forever, with a real business, you have to constantly work at it.
Good luck, just think of things you like to do and are good at and start from there.
