     Maybe you should try something a little different than just promoting the link. Maybe you should try promoting yourself first. You know, as someone people can go to when they need help or information. Instead of placing an affiliate link, try promoting a webpage with a product review for your affiliate product. then give them a chance to join your mailing list by adding a contact form, requiring there name and email address. This take's a little while , but once you get a nice list of people, then you can earn there trust by delivering some solid info, and I promise they will by whatever product that you are selling.

     if you would like to use redirects, just make sure you use a '301 redirect'. using the 301 redirect is what will keep you out of SEO trouble.

      YouTube's main concern right now is the copyright violations of videos uploaded there. And videos that contain adult contents like upskirt or things like that because I saw one and flagged the video. I saw the video stills on the "Videos being watched right now" link, not because I searched it up... LoL! It was removed in a matter of minutes.

      The reason people do landing pages is so that it's not just another link to the same affiliate page.

      You're much better off doing a landing page and from that landing page redirecting your visitors to your affiliate page. If you don't fancy doing all the work of making a landing page just go to fiverr.com and let someone do it for a .

      2) Write a press release on your latest item and submit it to PRWeb. The site gives guidance on how to write a good press release.

      The above will give you exposure and good quality links as well as traffic from people interested in your products. In addition your article and press release will propogate around the internet if they are good. BUT you cannot post affiliate links. SO write a basic web site with some good information on it - then show a few of your products with the affiliate link buried on the site. Guru.com or Freelance.com will provide you with a web site.
