   Can I affiliate Internet Download Manager with Google Chrome?
   IDM have a couple of great options like video downloading and faster download manager and it works perfect with firefox but Chrome isn't supporting it can i do it somehow.

   all Fry's stores refuse Internet coupons because they are too easy to fake. Anybody else had Internet coupons refused? Wouldn't they not scan if they were fake?

     I have, but it has been a while since I last tried. Coupons can still scan if it is a fake, if the copy is good. It is the stores decision, they can accept whatever they want to.

9. QUESTION:
   Which is better forwarded to hiring manager for review or application under review?
   I got both of these responses at the same company well there affiliates and pretty much the same job. I got under review and my friend got forwarded to the hiring manager.

     Well it depends. It's possible that an application can be under review before it's submitted to the hiring manager. But it could have also been forwarded to the hiring manager and is currently under review (by the hiring manager). It's hard to know without knowing what the procedures are.

10. QUESTION:
    What does the affiliate marketing term "job traffic" mean?
    There is an offer that states that it accepts "job traffic" and my network manager is gone for the day.

    • ANSWER:
      I believe that it means that they accept resumes for people looking for jobs. You mention affiliate marketing. In this instance it would be like a "finders fee". Someone is looking for a job, someone else finds them one and gets a little commission. This is what typical affiliate marketing is about: getting a commission for selling a product.

    How do you let a player who requires a work permit to go out on loan to a feeder club on Football Manager 2007
    On Football Manager 2007, how do you get a potential signing who requires a work permit to go out on loan to one of your feeder clubs? The feeder club is used as a loophole for work permit regulations, but how to you get the player to go out on loan if you can't sign them in the first place due to work permit irregularities.

    For example, I am manager of Portsmouth and I would like to sign Millan from Colo-Colo, however he will never get a work permit for at least 5-8 years if he stays at Colo-Colo.
    He has agreed terms with the club, but I cannot sign him because he cannot be granted a work permit.
    I have a feeder team in Spain that I have affiliated with to overcome this, but how will I get him out on loan if the Home Office won't allow the player to join my club primarily?

    The player I am curently interested in is Chilean, and my feeder club is Spanish, so in terms of communication it won't be a problem, and he has already agreed terms with my club

      You can appeal against the decision to refuse a Work Permit. Plus what you can do is try and get a South American feeder club, or sign him at the end of a season, when the player will have played more times for his Country.

12. QUESTION:
    Question for fellow Affiliate Managers?
    How do you deal with clueless affiliates? I find that I spend a lot of my time answering somewhat illiterate emails from affiliates with zero knowledge of the industry. Additionally, they will call and call with absurd questions. No matter how many times I explain something, they just don't get it. I feel like I'm wasting my time with people who can barely turn on a computer, much less understand building a site, PPC, SEO, etc.

    someone told me it was a manger for the braves minor league affiliate but i seriously do not know. i'd like to know because it was hilarious and i want to see that again.

      His name is Phillip Wellman, and he is the manager of the Mississippi Braves, Atlanta's Class AA minor league affiliate. I have already seen the video a couple times and think it's freaking hilarious!!!!!!!!

    Also, they don't have a need to, in Spain there are no regulations relating to Work Permits.

      Probably not. I just checked on

      which looks first at websites about the Other Free Operating system. The reason the *nixes have so much free software is because their core audiences until recently was in college or graduate school. You have a lot of people in those places who need FOSS. Even some proprietary packages like SPSS is very well supported for Ubuntu.

      Anyhow, I didn't find anything. And someone who would develop that sort of thing would probably not have a crying need for FOSS. You can look around futher if you like.

    How do I find and recruit a savvy direct marketer?

      If the position is as high level as you suggest, it is worth investing in a good executive recruiting firm. You might also post ads in relevant trade journals and network at trade shows. The DMA (Direct Marketers Association) would be a good place to start. If you want someone with heavy online experience you could also try AdTech, Shop.org and SES.

19. QUESTION:
    bank manager filing for bankruptcy?
    hi, i am a HSBC bank manager who is planning to file a bankruptcy petition. my problem is i have 3 credit card debts with HSBC affiliated banks and credit card companies. should i file reaffirmation agreements regarding those credit cards debts? if I dont file reaffirmation agreements, will it affectmy job at HSBC. thanks a lot

    • ANSWER:
      I think that it would affect it. I used to work for U. S. Customs, and God forbid if you didn't file your taxes on time. Customs at the time was part of the Treasury Dept. as was IRS.

      Do what you can before you are found out by your supervisor's and do it quickly. It will show them that you are being up front about your financial situation, otherwise, they may think that you are intentionally hiding it and may give them a good reason to either can you or demote you.

20. QUESTION:
    Have you noticed discrepencies in prices at Kroger?
    They will list sale price with Kroger card. However even when you use your Kroger card at checkout, you are charged the regular price. I had to let the manager know twice on two different products on two different shopping occasions. Even though they may have changed those prices, I'm wondering how many products they rip people off of. Next time, I will keep the receipt. If I continue to see discrepencies, I will contact my local ABC affiliate. BTW, I have seen this issue on the news before several years ago. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

      Sundays at midnight All of the tags start to get torn down from the previous weeks sales adds, and the coming weeks go up. It's done by hand. The Box is scanned, and the price is put in. This is done thru the ENTIRE store, in 8 hours.

      We are only human, mistakes are made. When an item comes up wrong... the cashier is asked to fill out a slip to go to the File Clerk for the item to be repriced. Also, you get the item for free as long as it is under 5 dollars, and if it is over 5, you get 5 + the difference taken off.

      All the tags are done by humans, who make mistakes. And for their mistakes you get free/really cheep food. Also, a side note, some of the sale prices dont come off until they hit total. Things like Buy One/Get One, Buy Five Save Three.

21. QUESTION:
    Adult Affiliate Program Legal Or Not?
    almost 6 years ago i joined one of those adult videochat sites and started promoting it. At the time i joined they said - lifetime earings on what a member spends, that joins from your affiliate link.-

    In fact even now on the page of their revenue sharing program page it says
    "For every $ a registered viewer spends per-minute watching live interactive video feeds, you receive up to 40% forever and without restrictions! "

    Then I was expecting a payment for money, and did'nt recevie, I contacted them and I get this email from them telling me their new tos:

    Thank you for contacting us.

    Under the new CamSense Terms & Conditions (Effective Date: December 1, 2009) in order to continue receiving payments from CamSense, a person must either have a CamSense account that complies with the minimum traffic requirements i.e. to deliver at least 5 qualified spenders per month; or chathost account that complies with the "active chathost" requirement of conducting at least one live session in a 60-day period.

    Please be aware that the new CamSense Terms & Conditions were implemented on December 1, 2009. Every affiliate received an email detailing the changes on December 1, the announcement was posted on CamSense News Section and the terms were posted on the Camsense site on the same day.     How can they change the terms of a contract they have with me from 2004 through 2009???

    Basicly what they are telling me is that if I don't send MORE visitors to their site, (that sign up and spend money) I lose any money I would have earned pior to their tos change on December 1, 2009.

    I do not agree to these terms changes. Nor would I have ever aggreed to such terms.

    So, Should not anyone that joined by my link before December 1, 2009 fall under the prior tos? I did work and promote the program and more then a few of these members are still spending on the site.

    If there is anone else out there that has been effected by this and is losing their money, contact me and let me know your story as this effects you.

      My best guess is that this is far from legal. However, I am not a lawyer. I would recommend getting one, and maybe seeking some punitive damages.

      On a side note, I don't **** over my affiliates like that, so if you come this direction you may be less stressed.

    Is there an organization for children with autism?

      It sounds like you want supported living. I cited a few websites that may assist you. I would definitely check with the ARC of King County first. You are more apt to talk with a person who can point you in the right direction and won't have to wait on hold as long. The second link is for the State Division of Developmental Disabilities. 23. QUESTION:
    How do I enable my Task Manager?
    My computer has spyware on it, and it kept me from getting rid of it by Disabling the Task Manager from opening. Where do I go to Enable and Disable it whenever I want to? Right now I just want it Enabled so i can get rid of the spyware that some company put on my computer. A company in Columbia put spyware on my computer with something called "Internet Security 2010" and is trying to get me to buy it. When I run a spyware scan there is only Trojan.JS.Hoax.b , Trojan.Crypt.XPACK.Gen , and Affiliate Tracking Cookie. They come up every scan and my computer still is screwing up because of spyware. I use AVG and Spyware Terminator to find Viruses and Spyware

    And yes I know that Ctrl+Alt+Delete brings up the Task Manager

    How to get a hotel affiliated with tour buses?
    I am manager of a hotel in the Monterey, CA area-during the off season it is very slow but there are always TONS of tour buses around the area. Anyone with experience in the travel field, how would I go about getting our hotel affiliated with tour buses so we can be used as a lodging option for these groups? Any info is greatly appreciated.

    • ANSWER:
      i have some experience with the field (on the transportation end). i would recommend talking with the manager/owner about this possible relationship. though one piece of advice, come prepared knowing what you can offer over who they already use & who is in your area. also, if they have some affiliation with someone else already ask how they became to that point. is there anything that their current affiliate doesn't offer, that would help them? sometimes, some business do want to know what they get out of it, so also thinking about a possible something for a specific amount of referrals in a month.

      other than the direct source, you might want to also look into advertising on travel sites (ie hotels.com, expedia, kayak...). that might help with a large majority of the people coming into monterey, since most of the travel bookings occur over the internet these days.

    Do you think it is appropriate to list a business that i'm mildly affiliated with as a facebook network?
    I'd like to add a business that I don't work at, but am known at. I suppose you can say I am affiliated with this business, I could actually be working there sometime within the next few months. I know the manager and all, I was just wondering if anyone would think it would be appropriate to list it and my high school as networks. Do you think it is a good idea or not?

      Bad idea. If you do not actually work there yet, you should NOT list it yet. Just list your most recent schools and city, and wait on it. Don't bother asking the manager, because it does not yet make any sense to be on the network with a bunch of people who work there when you do not yet work there.

26. QUESTION:
    An alternative to Commission Junction?

    Commission Junction is so big and so bureaucratic that I don't want to use them. Anybody got a good affiliate manager?

    • ANSWER:
      Don't use a third-party affiliate manager, they can be costly and have a lot of bureaucratic garbage hidden in the fine-print. What I suggest, seeing as this is how I run my programming business, is you line out a set of base percentages. For example:

      Mr. A decides to become an affiliate with your business, so you offer him a basic 5% of every sale that he can assist in making, then over him an additional for every fifth sale. You really don't spend that much, but it is something Mr. A can get involved in without the ties of a pyramid scheme, so he will likely continue to affilate with you.

      Your accountant(s) can review your expendatures as well as profits to best decide the percentages and bonuses of becoming an active affiliate. They can also look into third-part site advertising at a low cost, or you may just consider going to something like www.sitemeter.com and finding what the most hit sites are and paying a bit more, but for a wider market.

    affiliate who claim they have millions of dollars of money to give me. Do people really fall for this??? I get people falling for some phone scams and some fraud scams, but really? Do people actually think a king, UN member, president, National Bank CEO would actually contact them at random to offer them 000 000.....I mean these emails are SOOOO SOOO obviously BS

      Yes sadly so many people believe them thats why so many are being sent out. Stupid greedy people actually believe they won a lottery they never entered or getting an inheritance from a dead relative they dont even know. its sad but so many people are falling for these nigerian scams. Just make sure all your friends and relatives know not to believe any of these emails or faxes.

28. QUESTION:
    How can I contact upper managment of full tilt poker?
    I have tried everythng I can think of. I have to skip support to solve this problem. It looks like the only way to contact the company is through email support. These are the people that can't fix my problem though. Would there be a listing of company managers somewhere? Must be some kind of solution. I have the problem with the affiliate rakeback site so it doesn't work to talk to them.

      Bad to hear about your bad luck with a rakeback site. I hope you chose a good rakeback site that is not ripping you off or anything.

      I too run a rakeback site and find that some people do not either delete their cookies or open a new account as they have played at the site before. Some rakeback sites advise you to contact them first before you join the poker site you want to get rakeback from.

      1. Contact rakeback site and save every email from them

      2. Read terms and conditions (The answer is sometimes in the small print)

      3. Then contact poker site at there suggested email under support.

      4. Directly talk to a poker professional sponsored by them at an event (If you Can) or by email.

      Rakeback money should appear as a stat where you can sign in to see it. Money is usally placed straight into your poker account.

    I have an opportunity, but I don't know where to take it?
    To sum things up, I am looking for ideas on where to take a certain business. This is a very lucrative small online advertising broker company. I currently work as the affiliate manager. The owner is trying to phase himself out and have younger (i.e. myself) take things in a new direction, so he can just simply retire. If I cannot I will just simply be an affiliate manager till we close up shop. This is a small family owned business that pulls in about 2-4 million a year. Any thoughts?     This opportunity would allow me to become CEO of the company and expand it to my liking. I would not seek a buyout option in the near future...maybe down the road 3-5 years. Basiclly, I want to take this thing and run with it. Make it bigger (more profitable) in a more contemporary way. Online advertising is still online advertising, But I want to freshen things up.

    Would I be admitted to a decent PhD program?
    I'd appreciate an honest assessment of my chances at getting into a good PhD program. I have a BBA (double major in marketing and communication arts) from a Big 10 university and graduated with a fairly average GPA. I spent a year in corporate marketing before moving overseas to Hong Kong. I spent the next 5+ years working as a researcher (and later project manager) for a university-affiliated business policy research institute. I've worked on published research and media projects involving prominent Asian corporations.

    During this time, I was considering a move into business/financial journalism and completed a part-time Master's in Journalism at a good Asian university. I've now turned 30 and am thinking of pursuing an academic path. I haven't settled on an exact field, but I'm generally interested in the economic development of E. Asia. I know I don't have an ivy league pedigree, or a high-flying corporate background. I'm also getting kind of old. What are my chances?

      Sounds like you've got a pretty unique set of circumstances.

      Don't worry about your chances and just apply -- there's no way you can really know for sure before you give it the ol college try.

      your college work probably counts for very little compared to the rest of us who apply at an earlier time -- me for instance, applying just after my MA program -- which had followed my B.A. immediately ...
      for someone like you, though, you're so far removed through a professional and working life that I'm pretty sure that will be the focus of your applications...

32. QUESTION:
    What should be my next step after writing to the CEO of a hospital and getting no response my my complaint?
    I wrote a long letter explaining the very shabby treatment by the nursing staff when my friend went for some tests in that hospital. It's been 3 weeks now. I left messages for the Manager/Head Nurse of that unit to call me back and I also left my daytime phone number and email address for the CEO's. Where or to whom should I escalate this complaint to? I have to go there in 2 weeks unfortunately because it's the only hospital that my Dr is affiliated with and I won't put up with what they did to her. I refuse to be disrespected and my requests ignored. I've spoken to my Dr also and she's aware of what happened and she threatened the hospital that she would take her business elsewhere if she ever heard of them treating one of her patients badly again. The doctor will also write on the pre-op script what I want and don't want. I want to make sure that my requests are honored. She also wrote instructions for my friend prior to her going there for pre-op procedures and they blew them off and just did what they wanted to.
    HELP!!!!

      If I were put "in charge" and Torre were already gone (with no hope of being re-hired) I presume I would be replacing GM Brian Cashman. I would immediately place Gene Michael "Stick" as the interem manager. I would sit down Bobby Abreu and start Melky Cabrera in right field, next would be to send Phelps and Nieves to triple A and bring up Eric Duncan and Ben Davis to take their places.     I am starting a research project on Collective Investment Trusts (CITs) and how they compare to Mutual Funds, and need a better understanding of how they are set up from a compliance standpoint.

    CITs are becoming a popular investment vehicle these days - some examples of these funds include AllianceBernstein Customized Retirement Strategies, Charles Schwab Managed Retirement Trust Funds and Mellon Capital Management Target Maturity Funds.

      I worked for a trust company that sponsored CITs. They are commingled funds, like mutual funds, set up for the convenience of trust company clients. They are not regulated by the SEC and therefore cannot be advertised to the public. The terminology we used was: Collective Investment Fund for a fund only available to qualified retirement plans and Common Investment Fund for a fund available to personal trust clients. These funds are regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and by state banking regulators.

      the grass is always greener on the other side of the hill, especially when you're looking to become a millionaire, famous, important or whatever grand endeavour you want to set out to accomplish. Like with any career/business start, the ones who last are the ones who succeed.

      Those who last are usually people with, like you said, a passion for what they do. Although this matter is open for discussion, the interaction with likeminded people can be as motivational in order to endure.

      You can't rush success, you obviously want it to happen FAST and that's a major no-no. I guarantee you if you keep up that mindset, in 4 years you'll still have what you have NOW. Setting yourself a time limit is going to put you under pressure and likely making the journey even more difficult.

      Like with most (if not all!) money making scheme the beginning is always a flat curve and after a consistent period of (hard) work the curve starts to slope upward. To more time you put in the steeper the curve becomes.

      A good word of advice, work smarter, not harder! Smart workers usually have their own product/business.

      You also need to mature business wise; jumping from one thing to another just because you're not really passionate is a sign of low work ethics and a lack of interest to become a millionaire. Either that or you're just discouraged by the sheer size of options at your disposal. That too can block a mind.

      If it's that bad then maybe you should go for the money directly with stock/currency investments. It's the easyer way, however it doesn't mean it's easy. Here too you will need to put in the time and effort on a flat curve unless you got loads of risk capital.
