Do you think this is a fair salary?
I have been working for my company since October 2009. From October 2009 - June 2009 i was doing an apprenticeship with the company in business admin. I think my job title is Marketing Administrator and i do a lot of work that is your normal receptionist/admin type work. I do A LOT of website content uploads, i also do graphic design work, creating banners and creating email campaigns, so quite a bit of design work as well as normal admin tasks such as inputting statistic and web research etc. I didn't earn much while i was doing my course but not my course is complete i now earn about £10,000 a year. Considering the amount of work i do design and admin i just want to know if people think this is a fair salary. I am not being greedy for money or anything i just want to know if i am getting the most out of what i do or if i should move on, because i know there are admin jobs where you can earn about £12-15,000 a year. Would have thought that this job with experience would be advertised around 12-15k. Have you had an appraisal? You should schedule a meeting with your boss/manager and then detail the tasks that you do and how you feel that your experience is helping you deliver the best for the company, however you are also doing all this other work, and would like some renumeration. The worst they can do is say no.
