    I just recently got accepted into the AdAngler network, and I'm really amazed at all the great offers they have. Before I applied, I did a lot of research on this company. It looked to be very legit, and all affiliates seemed to be pleased with their payments, support, etc. I also read a lot about how good their Super Affiliate training forum is.

    Unfortunately, when I log into the forum, there is absolutely no threads. Does anyone know if more action is required for me to see the content of this community?

      There are many options you can try so do not become addicted to one as there are always other ways of getting to where you want to go.

      Also maybe the site is undergoing some maintenance of some kind so make-sure you bookmark it and go back in a couple of weeks or so.

      There are professional agencies that handle all of these things as well as regular employment agencies. Try some of the nanny agencies in Beverly Hills. If they don't have something in the personal assistant area, they will know who you should call. Otherwise, get a job at a trendy restaurant, working the lunch shifts, and play it cool at first. Give excellent service and find a personality fit. After a while, they will look for you or ask for your table. When the time is right, you can let them know you are thinking of leaving; some of the other well-known people there have put it in your head that you would make an excellent personal assistant because of your many skills you are not using at the restaurant. If they don't need you, they may know someone else who does. Keep your ears open. Believe it or not, the best way isn't crashing parties or hanging out at award shows. It is hanging out where the other assistants hang out. you will find out by being at the restaurants, grocery stores, parks, etc. Keep your ears open. It's not that hard. Celebrities consider gate crashers to be horrible bores, so stay away from that train of thought you are on.

      I hate to tell you, but becoming a CPA isn't a walk in the park/piece of cake. Takes a BA in accounting to sit for the CPA exam and the law is changing so that if you dont have your BA by Aug 2009, youll have to get a Masters in Professional accountancy. So unless you want to get your Masters, you are too late to get just 2 years through to sit for CPA. Oh, don't forget the two year internship too before you can even sit for your license.

      A W-9 tax form is a Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification. Taxpayers use it when they form a business that is required to report to the IRS as a separate accounting entity. Corporations and Partnerships use it to request an number.

    This book was written by a Harvard Economics Professor. Not an MLM distributor. Also, why does Robert Kyosaki, self made multi millionaire support MLM even though he is not involved with MLM?

    So, answer the question as to why there are professionals such as CEO's, surgeons, attorneys, CPA's etc... leaving their regular jobs because of the success with the MLM company they've achieved?

    My answer is time freedom. They didn't want to be owned by their job... what's your answer?
    Don't say that most people at the top make all the money and you have to get in at the beginning because my 12,000 dollars proves this to be a bunch of horse pucky.
    I deleted the first question because it was not asked the way it sounded... I meant why so many professionals who are already six figure earners would choose Network Marketing as their vehicle of choice?
    Also, I'd like to add that there is no infinite depth in pay to keep it going forever... so, it's not a scheme. There is a cap on the depth in pay. Just no cap on how many income centers you can choose to open and grow.

    I am 14 and am making a few thousand online. When do I have to file taxes? I am making the majority off of CPA networks doing PPC marketing which means about 75% of my income are advertising expenses that I use to buy clicks off of Google Adwords, do I still have to pay taxes on that too?

      14 or 64 means nothing with regard to income tax liability. If your gross income is greater than 0 you are required to file a tax return. That said much of the internet type transaction are unreported to the IRS so there is little if any enforcement of the filing requirements.

    Yes, that means if you are a white arrogant male, you want another one like you. White and arrogant. I went to an event whereby the top 25 CPA firms were available to meet with recently college graduates or in their senior year networking with all the firms. This is in sacramento. What you will see is that 98% of the employees of the firms are white. And the new recruits networking with the top firms are white, whereby the colored were left on the wings left out of the "warmth" of the whitie club. White people are not more successful in being able to do the job, they are just successful in excluding those not in "there" social order. Al Qeda, come to the USA and start blowing shops!

    How can I find a corporate Staff Accountant?
    I need to hire a good Staff Accountant in NJ. I am finding this task to be harder than anticipated. They must have GAAP, Bachelprs and preferably a CPA- Big 4 exp. would be great.       You'll get more applicants using an accounting hiring agency like Robert Half or Adesta. They'll do a lot of the background screening for you in advance.

      You can also put an ad yourself on www.hotjobs.com or www.monster.com. But, if you use an agency, they'll place the ad for you on these and other sites.

41. QUESTION:
    MBA+CFP or CPA+CFP, CFA+?
    I'm planning on returning to school within the next couple years and would like some insight on the following credentials (preferably from individuals who hold these qualifications).
    I'm trying to research what field would be the optimal fit for me and which credentials would be the best fit. While an mba from a top school seems like a great foundation, great opportunity to network, figure out which path to follow, top jobs etc- I think my long term goal would be to have my own firm/business. So I'm not sure if the mba is the way to go for me, if it's too general, too much money etc. I feel like if I got the mba I would also need to get a 2nd credential as backup.
    A cpa/cfp combo, I believe would be more the path for me- but I'm wondering if anyone that has those credentials, can tell me if they're generally happy, how long it takes to get established, if it's difficult to get established, how many clients you have, what the general pay range is (i know this is a direct question but it's something I really need to consider).
    The info out there on these credentials and pay ranges is just very spotty.

    Or should I just say the heck with it and get all the credentials- kidding

    Background on me- mid 20's, currently a Sr financial analyst, I think I would prefer to have my own firm/business as opposed to working for a large corporation....although if the pay was significantly better at a large corporation over time, I would prefer the larger company.

    • ANSWER:
      For real, the CFA is unbelievably difficult. The pass rates are 40% for each exam, and there are 3. No employers seem to care much if you get level 1 or 2, they only care if you pass level 3 because its so rare.
      I know a lot of people who are divorced or screwed up their life by putting their whole life's mission on the CFA and found out they couldn't cut it.

      The MBA can be really easy compared to CFA level 1 or 2. A soft school is really easy for MBA. If you can get into a top tier school (lets say the level of about Ohio State and above), then it might be worthwhile. The dollars invested will be high, many schools are 50-60K per year for 2 years.

      The CPA is going to get far more difficult in 2011. The exams are being rewritten by the board and will assuredly have a lower pass rate going forward. New York, Texas and Florida now require a masters in accounting just to write the exam. Lots of people go with New Hampshire to write the exam - but you'll never get work in New York with a New Hampshire designation, and you can't do a reciprocity unless you get a masters in accounting.

      Overall, no one likes to talk about the graveyard of people who invested a lot of time into the CFA and couldn't complete it. The MBA is the easiest route, but most expensive, and is losing prestige over time.

    Is there a definitive guide to online marketing?
    I am looking for something which gives excellent insight into affiliate marketing, online advertsing networks, PPC, SEO, CPC, CPM, CPA, blogs, forums and marketing on social networks, Web 2.0 etc. Also has to be current content - not something written in 2002 or something - less than a year or 2 old

      There is no definitive guide as such, but there are some great resources out there to help. There's a site called utalkmarketing.com which has a digital section- http://www.utalkmarketing.com/Speciality.aspx?nav=speciality_digital
      It has a best practice section with case studies and also a basic info section if you are starting from scratch. The great thing is, they are all written within the last 6 months or so. Another way in is to look at some books although a lot of these are too old as online marketing is constantly changing. There's one i use called 'Marketing Through Search Optimization: How to Be Found on the Web' which is a good jumping off point and was written in the last 2 years. I hope this helps.

    Career Change from accounting to entirely new field?
    I am an accountant but not a cpa. I am out of job for the last 1 year. Now I am planning to change my career. I have two plans. Plan A is to do associate degree in nursing. Plan B is to get an associate in IT(networking). Which is the best decision. I would appreciate your valuable advise.

    • ANSWER:
      After Sarban Oxley, there were a lot of accountant lost their job. First of all you should make sure changing job is what you really want and not because you can't find a job. Keep in mind that you must at least enjoy what you do for living, otherwise, you will be miserable which is not good for you or people close to you. Why not consider building a career using your accounting training? I think there will be a lot of demand on "baby boomer" related business, like medical administrator, assistant living manager, or other business management job. With solid accounting training, it is easier to learn management side of the job.

      Compare Nursing and IT field, nursing probably has more demand in the foreseeable future, although the over supply is happening in some cities. IT particularly networking area has too many people fighting for a shrinking field.

    Would a minor that has something to do with computers go good with an accounting major?
    My major is accounting, and I need a minor so I can meet the 150 credit hour requirement for the CPA exam. I was thinking about minoring in something with computers since the business world is basically run by computers....maybe computer science or computer networking or information systems. Would that be a good idea?

      Try something like Management Information Systems or Information Technology (IT).

    Just as my sister wanted to be a doctor but is now going towards cpa, I want to change my career.

    I graduated from college with network technology degree. Since working for this company I am getting more interested in graphic design such as adobe photoshop and dreamweaver.

      It's never too late, no. I had a family member who is 64 years old and he just changed jobs (granted, he didn't change his entire career but his new jobs requires a lot of new information and learning). If it's what you want to work toward, then I say go for it.

    How to Monetize a Blog with 1,000 Visitors per Day?
    Hello, I have a website with 1,000 visitors a day, and I can't make any money. I am sorry I keep bugging people to help me on this forum, but I don't know what to do.

    1). I tried promoting affiliate programs at paydotcom. 500 clicks with no conversion.

    2). When I was trying to be a publisher on cpa networks, I was denied from Clickbooth, Neverblue, Maxbounty, Hydra llc/Adknowledge Compliance, and Azoogleads/Epic Direct Network. I couldn't get into PeerFly, because I can't find no one with a camra. I got approved from YeahCPA. I got 200 clicks with no conversion; even my manager was wondering why I had so many clicks with no conversion.

    Is there any way to make revenue on my websites besides cost per action networks and affiliate programs? Here is my website: www.shellclick.com. Users keep saying how a nice blog that I have. I believe my niches are targeted.

      Well you have 1,000 visitors a day, which could be good if they are 'good' visitors. But it is confusing how your blog is on how to make money online but you are having troubles doing so yourself. Maybe target the blog to what you do know.

48. QUESTION:
    Registering under 18 and Filling W8-BEN Under 18?
    You know how most terms and agreements when you register for something requires you to be 18 or above such as paypal. What happens if you still register for it but you're under 18 such as paypal. Many people do it and haven't heard of many who were punish by law but what would be punishment if you do?
    The reason why I'm asking this is because I signed up for a CPA network and I realize that you have to be 18 or above but does not require your specific age or birth date so I thought nothing of it.

    But after I was approve it required me to fill out a W8-BEN form for tax purposes before you could be paid and I'm wondering whether I should request for the account to be close or just fill out the form. I doubt they'll care or know that I'm under 18 and I'm roughly 16 so just another 2 years.

    The main thing I'm worried about is the W8-BEN form as it is actually a government form but from what I read there were not age requirements to it just whoever needed to pay taxes however I'm afraid that because I'm supposedly 18 from registering from the network that it may affect this too. However as I read under the penalties of perjury that age is not a factor.

    I'm currently working on fixing up a CPA network scheme and I think it's going to be making me quite the sum of money if I do it right.

    The thing is, I'm unemployed and dating a girl. She knows my income is zero and knows that I'm working on some idea that'll make money. I've been working on getting a job so she knows I'm not a total bum. Should I just get a job and quit talking to her about the progress of my plan and just run it in the background totally apart from my time spent with her?

    I would like to get a job to mask the income I've made from my plan, and leave her totally in the dark for some time, possibly until I've breached the 0/day mark, or more. I guess it's so I can be more relaxed while making money and have a fund that only I know about, and also so I won't have a female constantly nagging me about the pile of money sitting in my bank account.

    Is this a bad idea and will this completely backfire in my face when she catches on?
