Many times, people want to earn a little extra money, but don’t want to have to get a second job. The truth is, there are quite a few ways to earn extra money, and many of them don’t even require you to leave the house! Here are a few ways you can easily earn some extra money each month, with just a little time and effort:

· Use eBay: If you go through your house, you can look for things you don't use or want anymore, and sell it on eBay. Also, if you do any crafts, or make something others might like, you can sell that as well. You don’t even have to leave your house except to ship the item, and it can be done any time of day or night.

· Have a yard sale: Usually these are held on weekends, but you can get rid of anything you don’t want or need anymore, and make some quick money.

· Answer Surveys: There are many companies out there that are willing to pay you in cash or prizes to fill out surveys on the web. They can be filled out at your convenience, and you can end up getting a decent amount of money for it. While some only pay a little bit, other surveys are willing to pay a lot more!

· Mystery Shop: There are also many companies out there that will let you do mystery shopping. Here you will go to a store or restaurant and pose as a regular customer, but you will take a look around and watch how the store is run, and how the employees are. You will not only sometimes get a meal or product for free, but you will also end up getting paid as well. It’s not a way to make a huge amount of money, but it’s great to end up with a little extra cash, or a free meal every now and then.

As you can see, there are many ways to earn extra money without getting a second job. The best part is that most of these can be done on your own schedule, without having to set certain hours.       If you need the money NOW, you could turn this into a project with your parents to learn about the value of money. Tell them that you need some money now and that if they are willing to give you the money now, you will pay them back with interest within a month. The interest doesn't have to be a percentage in cash. It can be with extra chores or something. And if you don't pay them back in time, you have to double up those chores or interest. This will teach you a valuable lesson at a young age to pay your debts in time.

      If you're looking to get some work, you can always babysit or rake leaves or wash cars. If your parents have friends that own businesses, you can ask them if you could come in once or twice a week to clean up for them. This might even turn into a summer job someday if you're a good worker.

      If you have video games that you don't play anymore, you can sell them to your friends or take them to stores that buy them back (but usually they give you very little for them, but if you NEVER play them anymore, you won't miss it).

      Modeling is a terrible way for a teen to make money. It doesn't pay very well at all and you have to deal with a lot of rejection.

      In Florida, you have to be trained and licensed to do property inspections. As a Realtor, I would not feel qualified to inspect plumbing, electrical, roofing, structural issues, and so forth - and to know all the related local building codes for same.

      However, as a Realtor, you could contact your local relocation companies and offer to do Broker Market Analyses (BMAs) in your area. Usually, they pay a set fee per BMA.

      You could also "RENT" yourself out to other Realtors to do Open Houses and Broker Opens. Agents with lots of listings frequently need help and will pay a licensed agent a set fee to do this. And you might meet perspective buyers, and sellers, this way.

      Consider doing seminars on hot real estate topics - you could charge a fee for attendance if you think you have something of value to offer, or ask for a flat fee if you are going to speak to a private club or company audience. Maybe you could do a panel with a lender and an insurance rep to broaden the scope for your audience.

      In my mind, the best thing to do during slow times is MARKET yourself. Review and revise your business plan and get out there and advertise and network and hand out your business card like candy bars. WITH candy bars! Do volunteer work and give back to your community and you will meet lots of prospects, too.

      It's always better to make things happen than to wait for them to parachute into your lap.

      You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job.

      These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as "work at home" because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

      It's really difficult to balance a real job while attending classes. You could work for your college part-time (maybe 5-10 hours a week) during the semester to earn some extra cash, but in order to make some decent money you need to take advantage of your winter breaks and summer vacations to look for internships. Internships, especially financial internships, pay extremely well so if your school goes through corporate recruiting, you should take advantage of that. Most students at my school don't get the really good-paying internships (,000+ for a 10 week summer program) until junior year, but you can still find internships that pay - an hour for your freshman and sophomore summers.       depending on if your in high school or college, you could pick up an after school job for a couple days a week? most employers are extremely flexible with school schedules and won't make you work every day. This is the best way to bring in some spending money during school, and it'll keep you busy which will make the time fly

      I wouldn't waste your time with survey sites, they are not very reliable. Maybe do a lawn cutting or a yard clean up biz in the fall? I bet if you made a flyer for yard cleanup - leaves twigs etc you would get plenty of people who would pay 15 bucks for an hour or less of work depending on the yard.

      Are you a male or female? A lot of wealthy couples with hire a manny or nanny -- depending upon gender -- and provide you with a room, food, and small stipend. Obviously you'd have work to do around the house, but this is not as uncommon and one would think. You could also consider day trading if you have the capital and know the market.

Those people are probably the same guys looking for innocent people on here. I would think about what your good at what you really enjoy and sell that product or service from your home. Always keep your full-time job and start your part-time business. Go to the bookstores and just look through the magazines to get ideas then do your own. There is NO real need to spend your money on information when actually doing it is your only down fall right now.

      the survey stuff (cashcrate, etc) are all scams, dont fall for it. You'll end up paying out of your own pocket and spending way more than you'll make (if you make anything at all). You can try making jewelry and selling it or cards for different occasions. Card making is not very expensive (it can be or it can't be), and people love one of a kind cards. You can try babysitting in your home or pet sitting. I have never heard anything negative about the envelope stuffing, but I do think you have to sign up for some sort of company and pay them to work for them. You can also offer to type letters for different companies around your home. Those are just a few idea's.
