I want to break through all of the crap and bs that is out there on the internet in terms of affiliate marketing and hopefully it will save you a lot of time and more importantly - money.
I do not care what you are doing in internet marketing or what products you want to promote, it is all boils down to the same thing..
Traffic.
If you are in internet marketing you are selling something. As the great Zig Ziglar once said "nothing in life happens until something gets sold". Think of internet marketing for a second as a McDonald's restaurant. The amount of money you are going to make is determined by the number of hamburgers you sell. The number of hamburgers you sell is determined by the number of cars that drive by in a given day. Go site at a McDonald's some day and count the number of people that are driving by that do not stop. Calculate the number of people out of 100 cars that stop.
Pretty ridiculous right? But internet marketing is the same thing. You create a website to sell something. Do you think everyone who stops by will like your price, your message and your product? Nope. Just like thinking that everyone who drives by a McDonald's will be in the mood for a hamburger.
How can we get more people to stop by and buy a burger? We can advertise in the newspaper, we can put up a flashy sign, we can run radio ads and the list goes on and on and on. The same holds for your website.
There are 1000's of different ways for you to get people to come check out your website and someone will try and sell you the latest sure fire method of doing so. The is PPC, SEO, article writing, press releases, banner ads, PPV and on and on.. What you need to do is become an expert at just one of these and you will be very sucessful.
