     Hey there! I looked into that too when I was pregnant...but the easiest thing I found, that makes you pretty good money, is babysitting. There's always someone in your area that needs full-time childcare, and if you have cheap rates, you can make decent money just watching a few little ones! I only charge 0 a week, and I'm about to start babysitting 2 kids from different parents, so I'll be making around 0-,000 a month. And I get to stay home with my daughter! It's good practice since I want at least 4 kids someday! Go on Craigslist.com and post an ad for your area offering childcare services, I'm sure you'll get a ton of e-mails back!

     Well i am a hairdresser & i work from home. what i earn is mine (apart from a LIL tax ; ) lol) I work when i want to & i choose how much i charge. I have to buy my own products but just to give you an idea of what it works out. Yesterday i did a full head foils & cut & blowdry & charged £75.00 as she had long hair. It took me 3 & half hours to do i went to hers & i paid £7 for my colour product & travel cost of £4. Pretty good profit for under 4 hours work. The course is 3 years so its not instant cash but it's worth thinking about & if hairdressing is not for you there are other things with shorter study times such as beauty or massages (not the naughty kind ofcourse lol) my friend is a fitness instructor & charges £35.00 per hour & is just a 1 year course which she goes to peoples houses & stays fit in the meantime. What ever it is id suggest look into working for your self, you set your prices you earn the profit not someone else. My attitude is i am good at my job and these are my set prices & i will drop it if they are having a package such as colour & cut opposed to just a colour. If you are not happy with my prices i am happy for you to go else where. All my customers come back because they like me & my work : )
     I have an 8 week old daughter & i am just picking up 1 client a week at the mo. Will not go back to my normal hours untill she is a year. The most hours a will do a week is 10.       With cat toys I buy a yard of fabric, a bag of stuffing, pick my own fresh catnip locally, and can make 69 mice out of each yard. It's a nice return, good profit with a low cash outlay.

I became an Avon sales rep a few months ago, I have yard sales (at family & friends houses) quite a few times over the nice weather months, and I sell things on Ebay or Yahoo Groups (such as Cheapcycle or Buy Sell or Trade groups for your city). I don't sell anything extravagent either, just the same things I'd of sold at a yard sale. Outgrown kids clothing, unwanted items, etc. Especially durin the summer months yard sales can be an effective way to eliminate items in your house, create more storage..and sometimes easily make you a few hundred or more over the season!     I have a fractured spine (in five places!!!) so I am only able to do very few hours at work and am struggling to make ends meet - especially with Christmas coming up.       You could make a lot of small projects and things on the computer and sell on amazon, etsy or ebay and maybe even take some to consignment stores. You could basically make up a bunch of stuff and start up a homemade gift business. Ideas for things to make:

      Gift baskets (but you'd need to buy the supplies from some where or have someone pick them up for you)

      Photo gifts (calendars, slide shows etc)

      Small crochet projects: earrings, coasters, placemats, dishcloths, potholders, baby booties, baby bibs

      Cross stitch projects: sippy cups, mugs, ornaments, bookmarks, coasters, sets of flour sack towels with patterns iron on

Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

      If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'.
