Make Money As An Affiliate

Network Marketing Program

Online network marketing has a lot of benefits over any other business technique. First you have more chances for success, as the result completely depends - not on your boss' mood or your company's position on the market - but on you: your talents, persistence and business activity. Secondly, you don't need to invest all of your money in it: while traditional businesses charge for rent, supplies, employees, taxes, insurance, advertising etc, online network marketing requires less costs to get into. Finally, both the Internet and MLM are the future, that is why running an online network marketing company is not only profitable but also safe and effective: by establishing your network you get a constant income.

The key point to consider while engaging in online network marketing is to choose the right program. Opt for a wrong one - and you may lose your money and credibility for years. Select a good program that, however, doesn't fulfill your expectations - and you are likely to waste your time. The fact is that you should choose the program that would work best for you, and the following tips clarify how to achieve it.

- First of all, learn as much as possible about the online program you are going to join. What reputation has it established in its niche? Who are its clients and partners? Are they satisfied with the collaboration experience? Take your time to perform such research.

- Once you are sure the company is ok, it is time to focus on the product it sells. Is it on demand? Do people need it? Actually, would you buy it yourself? Try to understand that even the best marketing strategies won't work if you don't believe in the product. So, choose programs with quality and proven products.

- Concentrate on the customers policy of your program. Most companies that achieved the top positions are customer-oriented, ensuring the highest standards of services and support. Such an approach isn't altruistic, in fact: managers realize that clients represent a source of income and their attitude is critical for the business' prosperity. If the online network marketing program really cares for customers, it will grow; that means it is the right program, and you can join it.

- Another crucial factor is the selling price for the program's products. The more affordable the price is, the higher income the whole campaign will finally bring: people adore the magic combination "quality and cheap", and between a fair price-tag "" and ".99" they are likely to choose the latter, even if there is practically no difference between them. Study your program's pricing policy beforehand to know whether it will attract prospects or frighten them off.

- The price range is also important for recruiting. If the company sells elite products it is likely to charge much for getting into, so the circle of potential members is limited. Taking into account that recruiting is one of your incomes (and who knows, maybe expanding the network will bring you the highest profit), you should pay particular attention to how catchy the current program looks for other candidates.

- Study your niche. Are you sure that our program's product is exactly what the market needs? Are there many competitors in the industry? In other words, what is the competitive level of your online network marketing program? Take your time to learn more about its promotional and/or advertising campaigns, as well as on the way the company positions on the market.

- How deep is the tier system of your online network marketing program? Most often MLM representatives earn commissions up to the third tier. So, by creating and expanding the down line you get a steady revenue, and such advertising cliches as "earn $$$ while you sleep" and "income for life" will become reality for you. Learn all ins and outs of your program's tier system to know how you can monetize through it.

- Find out what commission rate the program offers. That's one of the key factors, however, if the program's product isn't on demand, or if the company has a tarnished reputation, the commission rate doesn't make sense, because in that case you won't manage to realize your profits. Apply the above tips to your online network marketing program and, if it complies with all of them, ask about the commission rate.

Choosing the right online network marketing program may be rather time-consuming. As a rule, by the moment you finally find one, you have already learned so much about the industry, that you become a real MLM expert. All in all, knowledge and experience that you gained while selecting a good program will help you in business.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
What Network marketing Program is easy to recruit for?
i would like to look at some MLM or network marketing opportunities. Please leave a cell number so i can call u with any questions about your program along with your website address.

    • ANSWER:

  2. QUESTION:
Which MLM or Network Marketing company has the best training program?
I'm not looking to make a lot of money doing Network Marketing. I'm looking to improve my networking and sales techniques. Any thoughts on Network Marketing programs that could help me in that way?

    • ANSWER:
Most network marketing opportunities will provide you with a good to excellent support system. After all, if you do not make money, then neither do they.

Because network marketing involves the skills of networking and making sales, it is not a good field to go into if you are timid, shy or withdrawn. Your sales will primarily be contingent upon two things; how well you know your product, and how well you can reach your customers. Most current multi-level and network marketing companies that use distributors or consultants to advance the sale of their products, will provide you with a website that is company approved in addition to some kind of training; usually web based, but also mailed in hard copy form, involving a senior consultant (or upline), or in some instances even seminar-style courses.

Like any other business venture, prior to becoming involved in any kind of MLM or network marketing sales model, it would be a very good idea to do some research into a few companies at random. Perhaps choose products that appeal to you or that friends or family have been exposed to as your starting point in determining what you yourself would like to sell. By doing this research first, you will give yourself a solid foundation of information about not only the products they offer, but the compensation packages and what kind of training is available to new consultants.

Ultimately, by making yourself available to would-be customers and working hard to offer as much information as possible to consumers about what it is that you are selling, you will strengthen your network and build a financially sound business in the process.

  3. QUESTION:
What is the most creative way to get a person to join a Network marketing Programme?
What are the most inspiring ways / methods to get a person to join your Network Marketing Business. The products are related to I.T, Internet & e-Education. I got myself enrolled for a wonderful N/W Marketing programme & I need all help I can get.

    Thank you for your answer!!!

    Love, Clarissa ♥☺♥

    • ANSWER:
For every MLM, there is a proven system to get people to join the business. No more going through the winding roads. Instead you have the highway to lead you to your destination. As a newbie, any creative idea has to be first brought to your mentors for deliberation. Your creative idea may had been tried out by someone before you.

Getting people to join the MLM company depends on whether they have the wants. Have you used the F.O.R.M. method during casual conversation to detect your prospect's needs? The different alphabets' meanings are as follows:

      F = Family
      O = Occupation
      R = Recreation
      M = Message

Using F.O.R.M. you can gather information / messages from the prospects whether he is in need of extra money. Then you can use one-on-one or ABC method to close him.

Currently, I am doing marketing on internet education. I just need to act as the director information. First, I will do marketing of money, then I will get the prospect to choose whether to watch a video, attend a workshop or 3-way conference call with my mentor. Once the prospect is convinced, he will sign up. I repeat the cycle of doing the marketing of money to new prospects.

  5. QUESTION:
Has anyone heard or Ann Sieg and/or purchased her network marketing program?

    • ANSWER:
***Having been front level to Ann Sieg and one of her top associates, a good review from me may be a given; but I will tell you this:

It's because of Ann's Renegade Network Marketer information and the Renegade System that I have been able to personally go from sponsoring 2-3 people per month into my business BEFORE I started working with Ann, to sponsoring 15-20 people per month consistently AFTER I learned what she is teaching and the system she is offering.

Sure I'm a part of her team, so yes I am highly recommending the book, but results speak louder than anything, right?

And my results are a direct reaction of what I have learned from Ann.

I have read and bought many, many books and courses and went to many conventions in my network marketing career, but absolutely none of them was able to do what Ann's system has done for me!

She just doesn't tell you a bunch of stuff, she actually shows you HOW to do it. Not motivation or excitement, or finding your 'why', but just straight 'This is how you do it' stuff.

And, it's not just me either, check out what others are saying:

      http://www.whatprospectswant.com

Honestly it truly is an awesome book and marketing system (one like I've never seen), but there's no need for me to convince you of that because the the only way you will really know what it can do for you; is if you invest a few bucks and find out for yourself, right?

I mean a few bucks for something that actually delivers, is nothing compared to the thousands of dollars myself and tons of others have spent on old rehashed information and hype over the last several years.

      I wish you much success!

  7. QUESTION:
Which Network Marketing company has the best training program?

I'm not looking to make a lot of money doing Network Marketing. I'm looking to improve my networking and sales techniques. Any thoughts on Network Marketing programs that could help me in that way?

    • ANSWER:
You'll probably get a bunch of people pushing their own network marketing company saying they have the best training but from experience most have sub-par training.

You're much better off finding an internet marketing mentor or generic training program that will teach you specific internet marketing tactics that will work with any biz opp or program you promote. When you acquire that knowledge you can literally walk into any program and do 6 or even 7 figures. Anyone who thinks that statement is untrue has mindset problems and will most likely not succeed at anything.

      Just my 2 cents.

  11. QUESTION:
How do i find the right training for network marketing?
Hi I have been looking online for a reliable place to find out more about the things I will need to know to become successful at network marketing. Does anyone know of any effective programs or courses offered online? Thanks in advance.

    • ANSWER:
There are lots of independent resources on the web for network marketers. A major one is The Direct Selling Education Foundation.

Personally, my business is a party-plan business, so the resources I am aware of focus more on maximizing that kind of a business. Many have blogs, and will occasionally mention collegues. Here are a few:

      Julie Ann Jones
      Tammy Stanley
      Jen Fong
      Belinda Ellsworth
      Deb Bixler
      The Lemon Aid Lady
      Lyn Conway

That being said, your company and upline should also provide you with the majority of the training that you need. I would suggest utilizing those resources first, then checking out the above mentioned people to find their Facebook pages and blogs for free resources. Once you're familiar with any given trainer's style, you might consider investing in a paid course they might offer.

  12. QUESTION:
Is mlm network marketing lead a scam?
I am ready to join Internet MLM marketing lead program, and create my own list, but is this a Scam?, how much is going to cost me?, what kind of leads am I going to get ?, I heard that from 1000 sign ups only 2 are good prospects, is that true?

    Any experience?
Some of my searches send me to consider this article
    http://mlmnetworkmarketinglead.yrnot.com/
But I am still with more questions about how this system really works.

    • ANSWER:
You can make this work. The problem is that a MLM runs out of prospects as you go 9-people deep into the prospecting. Each of the 9 hires 9 so the number gets exponential. You run out of possible recruits..

  13. QUESTION:
Is targeted contextual advertising program (like Google AdSense) related to Network Marketing or MLM ?

    • ANSWER:
No for a number of reasons:

      - Adsense has no downline. In the Adsense program you are not required to recruit people and earn from them. But Adsense has a referral program where you get commission from every website owner you refer to their program https://www.google.com/adsense/referrals -- but this does not make it MLM. This referral program is not the main essence of Adsense where website owners can earn when people respond to the ads (click or view)

      - MLM typically requires some investment, albeit low to participate in the program. Adsense is free and does not require you to pay in order to join the program

      - MLM typically wants you to sell their products as a distributor where you have to purchase these products beforehand. With Adsense, clicking on your own ads is a big no-no and can get you booted from the program. While you show their Adsense ads on your site, you are not allowed to actively sell it in terms of begging your site visitors to click on ads or even saying "support this site and click on the ads."

  14. QUESTION:

    • ANSWER:
You can do it through building your own websites with your own personal touch. You can choose how to target your audience. • ANSWER:
None of them offer much real marketing training. You'll have to look for your own training materials no matter which company you join.

  16. QUESTION:
Why would someone (who likes beef jerky) NOT buy beef jerky from a network marketing company?
I'm preparing to change careers. I'm currently working in the Construction Industry... fabricating pool cages (screen enclosures), but I'll soon be working full-time in the Direct Sales Industry.

I've affiliated myself with a company that produces Premium Quality Meat Snacks. I plan on specializing in selling beef jerky to Retail Consumers. My goal is to earn over ,000 per year by enrolling people into the company's auto-ship program. But, before I get started, I would really like to know what "objections" I'm likely to encounter. Please tell me every reason you can think of as to why someone would NOT be willing to spend a month buying beef jerky from a network marketing company/through an auto-ship program. Keep in mind... I will be focusing on promoting to people who say YES to the question: "Do you like beef jerky?" I will NOT be trying to get people to do network marketing. I simply want to earn money by acquiring Auto-ship Customers for the company that produces jerky.

    • ANSWER:
(Just a note: Some guy in England recently asked about some type of beef jerky that apparently isn't easy to find in the U.K., so if you'll be offering some kind that's hard to find in another country you may want to look into that.)

For me: I can't say I'd say "yes" to being asked if I eat beef jerky. I don't. I can't imagine anyone eating it.

Pretend, though, I would eat it.

I wouldn't spend a fixed amount every month because I probably wouldn't want a shipment of food/snack (whatever beef jerky is) on a regular basis. I have a local grocery store that sells things at very good prices. I have several local convenience stores that actually have beef jerky displays. I have a family member who has a food dehydrator and occasionally makes his own beef jerky.

I could know that I use x amount of whatever snacks in a month, but I still wouldn't want to commit to having snacks sent automatically.

There is something about snacks that sometimes involves the meager "fun" of going out to the corner store, getting a (in this case) beef jerky and a drink of some kind, and kind of enjoying that little run to the corner store as a little "treat". It isn't the same to have a carton of snacks in your house and just go get one out of a box every day.

When it comes to snacks, even if I know I'll use 30 snacks a month and maybe even 40 snacks in a month, I just don't want to be "confined" to a number and an amount. If I want to run out and buy six beef jerky packages that's what I'll do. Maybe I'll skip it for two weeks. There's just something "confining" about agreeing to pay an amount and have x amount shipped automatically.

For me, snacks are more a "Hey - I think I'll bring home a couple of muffins for my family" or "Hey - I think I'll get myself a candy bar with my grocery order" and not "Hey - I think I need to keep a load of snacks around in case there's a hurricane."

The a month wouldn't be the issue for me. The "mentality" of having a load of snacks delivered every month is what I don't have when it comes to snacks.

Good luck with your business endeavor, though.

I am an affiliate of the SFI affiliate network marketing program. I saw a banner which I liked. I was asked to copy and paste the image into my URL code. Certainly it is not like copying to a word file. How do I do that please?

    • ANSWER:
I use CJ.com and it is a lot easier. Once you get accepted to a store they give you lots of choices to copy and paste banners or text ads on your site. You usually get a percent of anything sold.

  19. QUESTION:
How much are the average costs to run a Network Marketing business from home?
    How much are the overheads?
Should I be running the business part time and working a day time job to cover overheads, expenses, buying products?
Do you have to apply for a ABN from the tax office as you are owning your own business?
    Any answers will help?
Suggestions about which companies to join with good training programs and low entry fee to join?

    • ANSWER:
Costs for a network marketing business can vary greatly. You have to be sure that you understand exactly what you are getting for your money. Some will charge a large membership fee and then have quotas, etc. Some, however, will be much more reasonable.

When looking for a business you want to make sure that you believe in the product and that the product as well as the business plan is proven. I did quite a lot of research recently and chose Youth Juice to be my next business endeavor. It is a first to market functional juice with a billion dollar business plan taking advantage of the two fastest growing industries in the world - the wellness industry and the network marketing industry. All of this comes with a very low overhead cost and is giving me a residual income early on. I welcome you to take a look at http://www.ourworldnetwork.com/gjt for some more information on both the product and the business plan.

I'm not sure what the laws are like in Australia for business licenses and network marketing, but there are some companies out there that are global in scope that you would be able to start earning a healthy residual income with. I do recommend network marketing, but only with the right product and the right business plan.

Good luck with your business endeavors and take care.

  20. QUESTION:
Which network marketing company with a great training and mentoring programs would you recommend and why?

    • ANSWER:
A great network marketing company I would recommend would be Neways International - www.neways.com - It has been around for 19 years (since 1987) and operates in 40 countries around the world. It offers state of the art products which are safe and effective, free of potentially harmful ingredients and in a 20 year advancement over the products we buy from the market. Annual sales of Neways products are approaching 1 billion dollars.
Personally, I have been a Neways Distributor for 4 months and the training I've had has been great. Each week, in every country which Neways operates in, Neways distributors organize meetings for other distributors to attend to so they can learn about the products, how the bonuses are calculated, how to follow a good system for finding new prospects and having less drop-outs, booster meetings to give out distributors that extra enthusiasm and confidence they need and other huge events like conventions and hotel meetings. Neways' products are also approved by the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) and Dr. Samuel Epstein (Founder of the Cancer Prevention Coalition) - www.preventcancer.com - It is also a member of the DSA (Direct Selling Association).
I hope you find this information useful. If you'd like to know more send me an e-mail (future_enhancer@yahoo.com)

  21. QUESTION:
Can Anyone suggest an excellent Affiliate Network that caters to Pay-per-lead program?
i am planning to venture into Internet marketing. since i don't have time to create a product of my own, i would rathre do Affiliate marketing on pay per lead program. I just think that this is easier than pay per sale and more lucrative than pay per click.

What do you think? I am on the right track?

I am an overseas worker away from family so i am looking for additional income so i can go home for good and still have some source of income.

    • ANSWER:
I don't want to dash your hopes, but none of these are going to create you the income you may hope and desire. The market is all ready over saturated with this and to even make a dent you would have to create some extremely powerful ad copy to make you stand out beyond everyone else.

So many people do this and just spend time clicking, submitting, etc. and never make much of anything despite what ads proclaim. What's worse than this is those who sell subscriptions to help boost your income and make it easier. The only income being boosted is by the one who just took your money.

After having tried all this 'easy stuff and free stuff' over and over again. I gave up, rolled up my sleeves, found a good solid 5 pillars company and started marketing for them. Yes, starting a home based business requires a small investment, however, after you spend enough trying different things that don't work and start adding up what you have spent, you could have started in the right direction the first time. Just my thoughts.

I wrote a blog on advice for working from home. There is a link in the 2nd paragraph of my profile here on answers. I invite you to read it and it's all generic information. If I can help any further let me know.

  24. QUESTION:
What's the best legitimate way to make money online working from home ?
I'm not interested in online MLM or network marketing programs.

    • ANSWER:
"If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

  25. QUESTION:
Push Button Extreme...is it still working for people to make money?
I did see a post here about a month ago regarding a new matrix network marketing program that the answers were all very positive and legit....is still OK to join and make money or has the opportunity gone away by this stage since it was launched in January?

    • ANSWER:
STAY AWAY!! I joined 2 days after it started and haven't seen a dime. I still need to have 22 people placed under me to get .00. I wanted to wait and see if it worked at all before sponsoring anyone. If the main seller of the program wasn't "Get in line and get paid", that would be one thing. I'm just glad I didn't add all the extra bells and whistles BC I've heard the 0.00 leads are no good either.

  27. QUESTION:
Does anybody own their own online business?
Hello yahooers..I'm looking for anybody who as their own online business..(not looking for any affliliate program, mlm, or network marketing programs. I am looking for somebody who owns the whole online business..I have some questions and actually I am looking for some advice and possibly looking for someone who I can team up with...

    • ANSWER:
Most online businesses are affiliated, MLM or network marketing programs. It's funny that you would say your not looking for one of those, being as your asking someone to "team up with" that's network marketing right there! Any business rather it's online or off line, is going to have all the things you talk about not wanting to do. For instance, unless you make the product yourself, create your own web site and own your own connection and made it from scratch and no one else is involved in anyway shape or form, just you and the consumer, then your doing exactly what you claim you don't want. What ever item you sale it's going to come from a business. All businesses are part of an MLM model. Once you hire someone you've started a pyramid, once you've teamed up, you've created a network marketing situation.
So if your against all these things, don't team up with anyone, make your own product, make your own web site, get your web site out there, market your own web site etc. I find it funny that everyone in any job or business is a part of all the things they state they don't like.
I have my own online business through a company. I make the same amount of money that any business owner out there does after taxes and everything else that they have to dish out. Why? Because my business is through another business in which I don't have the over head expenses that they do. I don't have to pay for all the things that they do.
The point I'm trying to make is, unless you create everything from step one to step 1000, including the product, the service and don't purchase anything from another company in any way shape or form, your affiliated, your network marketing.
      Good Luck to you though!

  30. QUESTION:
    Sleepees/ Skinees - Marketing scam?
A friend of mine is trying to convince me to get involved what I can see as a network marketing scheme selling two health products, Sleepees and Skinees.

In my cursory due dilegence, I evaluated the company's website (http://ourworldnetwork.co... Finding 99% of the site's content refers to its marketing program and 1% (if even that) is on the product is a bit disconcerning consider this is a health product.

The product description is a mere mention of its "natural, harmless" non-addictive ingredients. That's all. No independent medical reports, no testing, no government approvals.

So I like to hear back from people and especially medical folks that have heard about this product. Is this a marketing scam or does this stuff work?

    • ANSWER:
Contact the Better Business Bureau, and see what they've got to say about this company -- what sort of complaints have been made about it, lawsuits that may have been filed, etc.

  31. QUESTION:
I recently joined the delayed entry program for the airforce, but I found a franchise that I joined/network?
network marketing, they choosed me doing accounting in the air force, my questions is what time exactly am i going to get out, because i want to build my franchise, and does the air force keep me longer for duties and how often r the duties, my recruiter told me 7-4pm but I heard they also make you do extra duties?I want to have time to build my bussiness im cool with 7 -4pm but xtra duties, i have other goals to reach

    • ANSWER:
Okay lets break this down. If you join the Air Force your hours are whatever they tell you they are. There are no "business hours" in the military. You could be working midnight shift, you could be working 4am to 4pm. The first year or so you are in, you have to complete your career development course. This is upgrade training for whatever career you are in. Plus when you first come in, you are the low person on the totem pole. This means that you will work the bad shift or the bad job most likely. If you work in Finance, where hours are pretty much set you may be able to have a second job. If you are Services, Security Forces, or Medical, you probably won't. Also, keep in mind, any jobs outside of the Air Force have to be approved by your commander. If he feels that you having a job will take away from your training you can't get a second job. If you deploy, your franchise may be screwed.
I love the military, it has given me my life. I recommend it to anyone. But if you can't commit to it, then you have no place in it.

  32. QUESTION:
    Sleepees/Skinees - Marketing scam?
A friend of mine is trying to convince me to get involved what I can see as a network marketing scheme selling two health products, Sleepees and Skinees.

In my cursory due dilegence, I evaluated the company's website (http://ourworldnetwork.com).

    • ANSWER:
I am not in the medical profession so I won't attempt to comment on their product, but I am in the business profession and analyze business ventures for a living. I have analyzed the MLM industry and have made up my mind that MLM is a poor choice. There are other business ventures I also do not endorse, so it has nothing to do with any bias, although defensive MLMers will call my reasoning just that because they cannot refute the logic.

The fact is that MLM/Network Marketing ventures are typically filled with an over abundance of hype that you must sort through to get to the meat of the deal, and the reason is because that hype is needed in order to have everyone recruit people which is typically where money is made in MLM (and its fundamental flaw).

A couple questions you should consider:

-would you or your upline/sponsor/friend have any interest in selling this product if you could only make money selling the product and not signing up other people. Most people in MLM are not salespeople and if you can't sell the product for a living, how do you propose to bring other people into your downline on the basis of the product and not the pyramid.

-could you actually make an acceptable income only selling the product. Again, similar to above, most MLM companies are set up where the only real chance for an individual to make money is in sponsoring other people, not selling the products. The fact that you think 99% of the focus is on sponsoring rather than sales is a tell tale sign that this is merely a pyramid scheme (whether its legal or not makes no difference).

-would you even have an interest in the this product if the idea of making money with it was not an option. Most people get into MLM for the supposed big money then convince themselves the product is so great. Convince yourself of the product LONG before you even consider selling it...becuase if the product is unworthy, than how could the business opportunity possibly have any merit.

-if this is being presented to you as a business opportunity, will your friend, or anyone who is successful willingly share you their provable income/expenses (likely with a tax return) as would be done in any other business. This is the biggest one and most frequent road block you will run into. There is so much hype in MLM and if not the one trying to sponsor you, there is always supposedly someone that is making a killing by running the business meaning you can too. However, if I was to buy a franchise and my associate was running a successful franchise, we would undoubtedly go in detail through the numbers so I could analyze my own prediction of future revenue and profit. But in MLM, you often run into a road block because suddenly that information is "personal" and "none of your business". If you are being told that people are making money in this business yet no one is willing/able to prove it, you can bet its not true. Its either a business opportunity where numbers like revenue, expenses, profit, market share, etc are important, or is not. If those verified numbers are not being shared, then just like any other business in that situation, you know something doesn't add up (most likely no one is actually making the money they are suggesting).

Anyhow, this is basic food for thought. Perhaps you can also take a look at common MLM issues in another question i answered before you make your decision as it might help give you some additional guidance...check here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AursQD6056SRKQcIzInll4vsy6IX?qid=20060828175009AAaVsvO

  34. QUESTION:
how do i learn about link exchange programs for marketing?
I'm marketing for a new social networking site and want to get involved with a link exchange program.

    • ANSWER:
They are not a good way to get backlinks, Google takes quite a dim view of traded links, not as bad as paid links (which can make your site dissapear from the index completely) but you wont rise high in the rankings by using them.

You are better off building 'natural links', get involved in other sites in the same niche, comment on blogs (even ones with 'nofollow' have a value), blog yourself, twitter etc etc

I managed to get a site listed on one of the highest ranked blogs (according to Alexa) with a bit of work, that one link was worth more to my ranking than a thousand exchanged links would have been!

Of course, you could just hire me ;)

  35. QUESTION:
    network marketing scam?
Has anuone heard of this company..."The USA Cash List Program."..and is it legit and honest Thanks

    • ANSWER:
You can check the better business bureau. I have never heard of it. I have been involved with several network marketing companies though...I can only advise "be careful" if they promise to make you money then it's a scam. The good ones will tell you that it costs money to make money and that you will get less out of it than you put in until you have people signed up under you. USA Cash List sounds like some scam using lists of people who are supposedly owed money, you find em and you get a cut? Not happening. Just be careful. There are so many people scamming, and then the people who are innocent and signed up who are trying to make a buck and haven't realized yet that it's a pyramid or a scam. Good luck...

  41. QUESTION:
Why Is It So Difficult For Most People To Make Money In MLM Or Network Marketing?
95-97% of people fail to make any sort of income yet alone sustainable income that they can live off of. They may have a few commissions here and there, but it’s few and far between and not even enough to pay for a pizza at the end of the month in most cases. In spite of the fact that these people break their asses, going above and beyond everything they’ve been told to do. They invest in training, advertising, lead programs and other products that have supposedly been designed to help them succeed. Over time their viewpoint goes from assuming success as an optimist to assuming failure as a pessimist. Being as how they’ve tried so many different things and invested so much time and effort only to end up not getting a return on that investment. Their goal is to make money and they end up losing more than they are making especially if they aren’t making anything. These people often become angry, bitter and resentful toward humanity in general for not enabling them to succeed and enjoy the good life they were promised they were going to be living when they got into the industry. They start to think friends, family members, neighbors, associates, community leaders etc are conspiring against them so that they don’t succeed and receive a “reality check” thus abandoning this “non sense” of pursuing financial independence and go back to “working a real job.” but for many of these aspiring network marketers that isn’t an option as “real jobs” are in short supply these days it’s more of a privilege to have a job in this economy than a given right like it used to be. Failure simply isn’t an option but for so many becomes a painful reality.

    • ANSWER:
As I think of your question I realize that the answer can be found inside the question you ask. I'll explain how in a moment.

First off the point should be made that the greater majority of people quit their MLM in their first 30 to 90 days. MLM is a very easy in easy out business. Examine any given downline and you'll observe people who talk to a few people and fizzle out in a few weeks. Their reasons are varied. Everything from losing interest in the biz to being too busy or distracted to everything else in between.

Now for the more committed person who doesn't quit in the first 30 to 90 days - Why might they struggle? Your question asks why is it "so difficult"? And there (in the words "so difficult") is part of the answer to your question. The first reason is:

Unrealistic expectations - Saying things like "It's easy. Anyone can do it"; "You can make big money fast"; "Everyone will want this product/service"; "All you have to do is talk to people you know"; - Statements like these contribute to unrealistic expectations. These statements are far from true.

Of course most smart people realize that the statements above are unrealistic. They realize lasting success will require both hard work and the right skills.

What is required to be successful in MLM or Network Marketing?

Here is a simple formula for success: The results you achieve are equal to your "Activity Rate" times the "Action under Correct Principles".

So lets start with your "Activity rate". What is required for success? Simply put: Every single successful network marketer in history has sponsored 70 to 300 people in order to find the 1-3 people who are responsible for 90% of their income. A simple statement, right? Read it again.

What would it take to sponsor 300 people? Famous MLMer Bill Britt presented the business to 1200 people in order to sponsor 300 people. That means 900 people who agreed to a presentation didn't join. They told him no. That's 900 no's. Can you imagine how many more no's he had to hear before he even got those 1200 to just agree to listen? What if those 900 no's came first? How many people would have kept on going after hearing all those no's? Not many. That might be why few are successful. But if you know what your in for from the get-go you're better equipped for success. Bill's story is not unique. You can read other examples in my sources below. Everyones odds are different and you won't know yours until you do it but even the most talented networkers only sponsor a very small percentage of the people they talk to.

Now the other part is "Action under correct principles". Even if your activity rate was through the roof and you presented your business to thousands of people that doesn't automatically mean people will join you. The more you work the better you'll get. You'll learn to say and do the things that attract people. What are these things? The answer is in knowing why people buy. People buy from (or join the downline of) people they KNOW, LIKE and TRUST. They have to actually KNOW who you are, so you have to develop some type of a relationship with a person first. They have to LIKE you (if they think you're an obnoxious jerk who just wants to take their money they probably won't join you) You should sincerely care about these people. They have to TRUST you can take them where they want to go - If you can demonstrate that you have the MLM know-how and business acumen to show them how to achieve the success they want they will join you.

So how do you find these people? Some people have found success with their warm market - talking to people they know, others with magazine advertisements, others with google ads, others with pay per click ads, direct mail, card deck advertising, email marketing, voicemail marketing, telemarketing, radio ads, tv ads and the list goes on. They're is no limit to the ways you can choose to reach out to people. If you pick the marketing mediums that you enjoy most your more likely to continue doing the work day in and day out.

  42. QUESTION:
Quality internet marketing affiliate programs? (credit cards, etc.)?
    Hey all,

This question is aimed at people who are familiar and experienced with internet marketing affiliate programs. NO ANSWERS FROM BROKE PEOPLE PLEASE. I don't believe in jobs. (j.o.b. = fraud)

I am involved in network marketing and I love it. It's the only real thing. The other day I was in Downtown Miami and I met this guy in a popular club. He makes 30-40 Gs a month through internet marketing of credit cards. I asked him if he sponsors people, but he said it's a pure online system (he's affiliate). He didn't share what system though. I know for a fact he's no fake, cause I asked around.

I need info. You guys know any proven systems, books, sources, mags that talk about online affiliates? Most relevant answer wins! Please remember, Give and You Shall Get!

Thank you winners! All the best!
Great answers so far (besides the negative one), there were more answers originally but someone wrongfully reported the question, and the awesome Yahoo! Answers Team put it back on. Thank you all affiliates and positive people for answering my question. You've helped me learn a lot so far, and your answers point to the fact that there is a lot to learn in this industry. You guys are awesome! I wish you wisdom and prosperity in your lives!

    • ANSWER:
      Hi Young Boss,

Affiliate Marketing can very easily make you ,000+ a month, but you need to know exactly what you are doing.

You need to follow these key principles:

      1. Know what to promote

ClickBank has over 10,000 products to promote. The product you choose has to have excellent gravity, momentum, closing ratio, and of course, most important, it must be giving you a nice chunk of the proceeds.

If you went to ClickBank right now, would you know what to promote?

      2. Know where to promote.

Most Affiliate Marketing noobs will just spam their hoplinks on classifieds, and are lucky to make 1 sale before they burn out and give up. I actually found a product that was offering to teach you how to do it! Correct advertisement is about learning where your competition is NOT marketing, and marketing there.

      3. Know how to promote:

This most important! A great ad will not only destroy the competition, but get people clicking on your ad and buying like crazy.

For you to get to your friends level of k+ a month (and what a bastard he is for not teaching you), you will need to master all of these principles. The only place that is offering it, right now, is in my source link. It also has a load of free videos to get you started, before you even buy.

Once you make you first k month, feel free to send me a beer as a sign of your appreciation.

      Good luck!

  43. QUESTION:
Whats the best way to market a Christian Social Network?
Ok, I am launching a Christian social networking site. I am in the middle of programming. I need to know the best way to get members and market the social networking site. I am a Christian and very religious. I would appreciate any help. Also if you are in PR or any form of marketing and would like to help with this I would be greatly appreciative. God Bless

    • ANSWER:
On the more technical end, the site has to be optimized for the search engines. You might want to try setting your parameters and keywords effectively so that it shoes up on Google when people search for "Christian website" or "Christian community" or something to that effect. Some Facebook presence to direct traffic from all the Facebook users who are Christians would be helpful as well; I'm talking about a Facebook fan page that can link to your site, or introducing yourself and your link on existing Facebook Christian-focused groups.

From another standpoint, you can also reach out to churches and various youth group or young professional communities within the Christian realm by emailing them and introducing yourself and your site. This is a good method because most of the representatives have access to mailing lists. If they like what you're doing, they might pass it on to their congregation. You'd get immediate boosts in traffic. It'd be even more effective if your site were prepared to allow these groups to display which fellowship or church they belong to.

You can also reach out to blogs that are centered around a Christian topic. The blog owners might be willing to check out your site and if they like it they'll definitely post about what a great new thing it is and their readers (who might be your most relevant target audience) will check it out.

The point is to be able to create touch points with the most relevant market. In this case, I'd imagine it'd be Christians who are young and tech-savvy and will be active on the site. Find those people using some of the methods above, and you'll be golden.

This advice has been paid for on your behalf. ;)

      Good luck!
