Niche inspector is a software application that automates uncovering niche markets, making it much easier and faster than by the old time consuming method of researching every niche keyword and niche market. Niche Inspector is ideal if you intend to establish affiliate websites.
Niche keywords will significantly increase your chance of success. Achieving a top ranking will be much easier with a niche keyword phrase versus a very broad, highly popular phrase. Niche keywords are fewer in number and thus have fewer competing web pages. This gives the website based on niche words a greater chance of making it to the Google listing. Niche keywords are the keywords that are highly searched by the web surfers, and are rarely used by your competitors. Less competition means more traffic to your website.
Niche Inspector is an Internet search tool created by Myleena Phan which promises to find profitable niches which can then be monetized either with adwords or affiliate links. If you go to her website you will be able to download her free repor t on how to find profitable niches. Niche Inspector is obviously great for building a niche empire. Research a site one day, build it the next, then move on to another niche.
Niche Inspector is the first market research tool that determines if a niche will pay out profit or if you should consider another one. The software gets keyword results from the Google, Yahoo and MSN to filter out the most profitable niches from your list of keywords. What this software does is seek the keywords that pay the most and have the least competition.
Niche keywords generate less traffic. However, the visits they generate create more visitors that are of lifetime value. Niche keywords can even have high costs as Yahoo! Search Marketing has the largest distribution but ROI results are even better. Niche Keywords Software Advertising through pay per click generates a higher than average response and sales . And they're making a great living online, without a website, without an email list and without any formal 'business' to speak of.

This may sound funny to you, but I've made a lot of money with penis enlargement product suppliers (they make a lot of money that's why you always see people sending you spam crap in your email about them.). They average 0 a sale as most people that order pills through the mail don't want to just order one bottle and run out, so they order several at once. I'm sorry but I think Bum marketing only works for promoting established businesses. You can read into this link and see how one individual uses bum marketing for all sorts of clickbank products:

QUESTION:
How would I know if my topic I am writing about is targeting the right niche marketing?
Example: I want to market an ebook on supertips about in affilaiate marketing, no specific type of affiliate marketing.-
ANSWER:
You could be more successful by doing market research into your potential target niche markets. If you research the market niches that seem best, to find out what the people in each niche are thinking, you then know which niche is best and what to write. In other words, don't write your ebook first and then try to find a niche market to try to sell it into. Instead, first find the niche market that's best for you to write for (fewest competitors, best keywords, enough market size, topics you understand, best info on what people are thinking, etc., etc.) - only then do you write your ebook, specifically talking to exactly what the members of that market are thinking.
To sell online you need to find out what people want and then deliver it better than your competition does.
You may think you know what to write for affiliates, but you'll do better if you get real insight into their needs and desires and address those directly in your writing.
So how do you do this market research?
Find out affiliate's needs, fears, frustrations, desires and other motivations by:
1. Reading their forum posts. After you find a few with certain "need words", do a forum search to find more of those and dig deeper.2. Just ask in affiliate forums what people's biggest problems and frustrations with affiliate marketing are. You might be surprised how much you can learn by just asking.
3. Make a fast one-page blog and put a survey on it, asking affiliates what their biggest problem is. After you get 300-400 responses, you'll have a decent statistical sample and can stop advertising it. Advertise your survey blog on affiliate forums and (by far the best yet if you can afford it), with Google AdWords PPC. PPC can be very expensive long-term, but you only need to get 300 responses, then you can pause or delete your PPC campaign. Use an online survey service to setup your survey and to track your results in their database.
3. A bit of online searching for more free or inexpensive online market research methods will turn up more good ideas.
Hope this helped...

QUESTION:
In desperate need of help. Questions concerning my "niche" in affiliate marketing. Please help if can.
Hello. As a beginner affiliate I'm trying to learn as much as I can so bare with me. Most of the articles say that you should find your own "niche" that you know about or an area of interest that you have a passion in. I have always been interested in the topic of "dating and seduction." But I have come to face some problems that I find rather discouraging:1) Even though I like this embarrassing topic, I don't know if it is something that sells.
2) How can an art form like this compete against the technological world of digital products (something that I feel indifferent towards, but is something that I think would greatly sell)-cameras, computers, ipods, etc.?
3) I know there are a few ebooks on this topic already, but I also know of websites that one can go to in order to find all this type of material for free (because that's what I used to do), so can't my target audience just do the same thing?
Please answer questions if can. Thank you.

QUESTION:
Which affiliate marketing networks can I make the most money from?
I have been using Clickbank for affiliate marketing products for the past 4 months and I just made the payout last week since you have to have 5 different transactions to get your first payout. I only do affiliate marketing part-time on 3 blogs and 1 niche website, but I would love to eventually do it as a full-time job and make more than a month to do so. For people who have experience with different affiliate marketing networks, which one do you see the most sales and income from?-
ANSWER:
Like you, I used Clickbank for the first 5 months I did affiliate marketing and made about 0 a month. I just did not find many of the products that great to try to sell and most did not convert very well. So, I did some research and found this guy named Matt Bacak who brought to my attention that Clickbank is not the only affiliate network out there. This Bacak guy is actually a millionaire and offers great advice if you want to check him out - www.mattbacak.com.I joined a couple of different affiliate marketing networks such as Commission Junction, Share A Sale, and Clix Galore. I can’t really say which one is going to make you the most money since I don't know what kind of products that you want to promote, but here is what I do to get the most out of my affiliate marketing sites.
I check the networks to see what kind of products they have based on the keywords I have chosen for my site. Then, I compare them to see which product or service looks the best and which one has the history of doing the best. Then, I pick that product and go with it for at least 1-2 months and then re-evaluate it to see if one of the other products may be better.
Sometimes I find that Commission Junction is the best and other times it may be Share A Sale that makes me the most money. It all depends on what type of product that you want to try to sell and what topic it is on. Do your research and don't put all your eggs in one basket.
Oh, and I have been doing affiliate marketing now for almost a year full-time after getting laid off and I have now reached the same amount of monthly income that I had at my engineering job, so you can make full-time AM your goal and success can be achieved.

QUESTION:
What is a good niche to make money from as an affiliate?
I would like to find a genuine opportunity to make an honest income as an affiliate. Which niche has a hungry market with willing buyers but which is not too competitive?-
ANSWER:
Hi John H,The first step in finding your own niche is to think of areas of your own life that you have a personal interst in. What are you hobbies? What do you like to talk about with your friends? What products do you yourself buy?
This is the best method because not only will it give you potential niche markets, but it will also give you areas that you yourself have an interest in. This is extremely important, because I don't know about you, but I can't stand writing about things I have no interest in.
To be able to to market as an affiliate, you have to be able to create enough interest in something, that someone wants to buy it. You will defiantly not be able to do so, unless you are personally passionate about the thing you are attempting to sell.
For example, lets say you are an avid Muay Thai kickboxer. Muay Thai would be a great example of a potential niche. You love training in it, you know everything there is to know about Muay Thai. You would be able to write long, in depth sales letters, blogs and reviews about Muay Thai products, and so would make the most money.
Another example, may be snow boarding. It is another great niche idea, but perhaps you have no interest, or no knowledge about snow boarding whatsoever. Could you really see yourself writing about it? Or even having any passion at all when you are attempting to sell it?
Identifiying niches is a skill you must learn, just like any other. Perhaps you should invest some time, and some money into building up your skill, so that you may be able to quickly and effectively identify niches, and exploit them.
Check out my source link for my personal favourite product through which you may learn to identify a niche, identify profitable products to sell in that niche, how to sell them, and how to make money.
Good luck my friend!

QUESTION:
I want to start doing Internet Marketing but where do I start?
I've got the idea alright of how you need a niche market, a product within that market and traffic to get to your website to sell that product. I know about eBooks, affiliate marketing and the like. I even have a plan that I want to earn from the Internet full time in two years. It's just that I just seem to have difficulty "putting pen to paper" Should I pay for mentoring because I seem too overwhelmed by it all?-
ANSWER:
Mentoring is a good way to help you because it demands accountability on your part, however it can be costly. You already have a two year plan, but it has to be specific, like how much will you be earning in two years. The most important question is Why do you want to earn that much, what is the reason. The more compelling the reason, the more likely it is that you are going to make it happen because from a "Want" it becomes a "Must".
Once it becomes a must, you have to focus your mind on achieving it.Mark Twain said:
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.
The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.“A Chinese saying; A journey of a thousand miles, starts with the first step.
You already have a two year plan, that is very good, many people want to get rich but don't have plan or target. You are already several steps ahead.
Break down the 2 year plan into quarterly plans or milestones, the first quarter into monthly milestones, turn the first month into weekly actions, and then the coming week into daily actions.
Every day just do whatever your daily action plan is don't worry about tomorrow, just get today's action plan done. Make this a routine task. Somedays (not to many please) you might not do it, don't worry just do it the next day (take two days off every week, rest your mind do something else)
Review every month (if possible weekly), and compare your plan to your results. This will keep you on track. Once this becomes a routine you will be well on your way.
To get a free mentoring program on how to build a successful online business, please check out
http://www/internet-marketingtools.biz
You will receive ebooks, videos and periodic emails that helps you step by step. By following the training, you will see progress and once you see progress you will be more motivated to stick with it and do more. Without realizing it you will be well on your way to make it happen.Hope this helps

QUESTION:
What is the best niche to market?
I just started affiliate marketing with click-bank. I started marketing anti-panic attack and anti-anxiety products. I haven't made any money yet and I'm trying to figure out what niche I should market next. I was thinking something like diet products but I'm not sure. Any advice on how to make money? Or advice on what niche to choose next?
that isn't what i was looking for. Just want some ideas on good niches to market.-
ANSWER:
Try and look for niches that other advertisers are spending money in. This is a great indicator that the niche is profitable and people are making money. However if there are too many advertisers, unless you have deep pockets, you will be overwhelmed with competition.Keep an eye out on ads you see on tv. Try and look at it how the advertiser does. Who are they marketing to? What market are they in? What problem are they trying to solve? This will give you tons of niche ideas. Take these ideas and find a product to sell on click bank to this niche.
Lastly, I would choose a niche that you are passionate about. I feel this is the key. You may have to create content for ads and websites. If you were passionate about what you are writing or creating wouldn't that be more fun?
Make it a great day!

QUESTION:
What are the advantages of social media optimization?
I have heard about social media optimization (SMO) but I guess I just don't fully understand the concept. What are the advantages of it for someone like me who makes niche affiliate marketing websites?-
ANSWER:
Although it sounds confusing, social media optimization is basically generating traffic to your sites through social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and submission sites like Digg. This could mean that you sign up for a Twitter account and you add a Twitter feed on your blog or auto-post your new blog posts on your Twitter page.It could also mean adding a Digg button on your website to allow your readers to submit the article to the social media community. The way that this works is that if it gets enough digs on the site, it will be featured on the home page or category page and more people will be aware of the article and will come visit your site.
Other social media optimization features could be YouTube, Ning.com, any forums, and blogging communities. The advantages of using these are that you draw more traffic to your website. More traffic to your website may lead to more affiliate sales for you.
Since you are setting up multiple niche websites, you most likely are not using your real name on the sites or not letting people know that you own all these affiliate websites (this is how most people do it). So some of these social media sites may not work for you if you want to maintain your anonymous site. Check out www.mattbacak.com as he has some great advice on social media and affiliate marketing.

QUESTION:
Has anyone made any money using the info found in Dominating niches?
I really interested in making a career out of online ventures like affiliate marketing and niche marketing, but im really lost on beginning on that journey. If anyone has any info on how to truly get started and complete some type of sale of some sort ,or any stories of your success would be greatly appreciated!! Thx! =]-
ANSWER:
Personally if I had to start over I would try to find a mentor to help you out. Maybe you will find a course that makes you a lot of money, likely not though. Spend the extra money for a personal mentor or find a group of affiliates in your local area. If you do decide to buy a product that promised to show you how to make a lot of money, focus on that for a couple months, do not continue to buy product after product.

QUESTION:
What methods do you use for niche research?
I am very new to affiliate marketing and looking for some help on how to do niche research. I know that having a profitable niche is necessary to make money, but how do you find one? What methods do you use or where can I at least find some reliable and helpful info?-
ANSWER:
This is probably the number one question that all beginners have when it comes to niche marketing. There are several ways that you can find profitable niches with free programs and websites. Things like Google Adwords, Wordtracker, and even Amazon.com can help give you some ideas on what people are searching for. With Amazon, all you have to do is check out their most popular products for a week or two and see what they have in common. You can also join the affiliate networks like Commission Junction and Clickbank and check out the most popular products and see what niche they are in.
Be careful though, as you don't want to pick a niche that is overly saturated and you will never be able to get ranked for. You want to pick a semi-popular niche that you know a good amount of people will search for. Then you have to be able to answer any questions they pose when searching your product.
If you are still completely at a loss for your niche research, you may want to check out some Internet marketing websites such as www.mattbacak.com to give you more help. I have followed Matt Bacak for awhile now and know that he provides great advice so I am not afraid to recommend him to you. Make sure that you do some research on anybody that you choose to follow as there are tons of Internet marketers that claim that they are making millions and then their products and advice are absolute garbage!

This niche is great because there's a huge surge in traffic every fall for costume-related search terms and the conversions are pretty decent.

QUESTION:
Affiliate Marketing?
I'm just signed up for an affiliating marketing program. I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with this type of business. Is this a good business? I would like to hear the good as well as the bad. Maybe some good advice on some niches to foucus on. Any tips would be great. I've tried some home business opportunities before but they all were scams. I really want to succeed with this. Thanks to all.-
ANSWER:
You could focus your niche on things people really want, not what they need because not many people buy what they need they buy what they desire!
You could go to ebay and check the ebay pulse section and find out what people are searching for and buying the most, and then drill down into that niche so that you are not competing in a general niche where thousands of other people are promoting their stuff.
The Lycos top 50 is also another good source to find out what is being searched for the most.
When you find a hot niche you will need to milk it for all it's worth! which means setting up a website with articles on the niche you have chosen, plus the affiliate products you want to promote on there as well.you could also set up an autoresponder so that you can catch peoples email address so that you can carry on selling to them even when they have left your site.
You will also need to write some unique articles based on highly searched for keywords that have low competion anything under 50,000 competing pages should be fine, submit them to ezine articles and include your link to your website in your authors resource box,try to write at least one article per day.
if you do not want to pay for a website then you can easily set up a free blog with either blogger or wordpress.
remenber to update it daily.
another way to get traffic to your site or blog is to set up a squidoo page on a specific subject in your niche and link it back to your site or blog.
There is a lot more than this to it but if you take it step by step and continue to build around your niche then over time you will start to see the money coming in.

Hi the best thing to do is your keyword research 1st then build your blog/ site around that. I think the online Business market is going to kick off BIG TIME over the next couple of years and is always a good market to be in.That being said, I think picking something you are passionate about & is of interest to you as apposed to something you can just make a quick buck off is most important that way you will come across more truth-full & trustworthy to your potential clients & you will never get bored doing it!
$ Once you've picked a market you'll need a site/ blog. I use Weebly which is great as it's a site & blog combined & it's FREE {use the link bellow}
$ Then you'll need some products to sell on there. I've been using Clickbank for years now & I also use a cool plug-in to find the best products, in any niche, Affiliate Elite {find the links bellow}
$ Then you need TRAFFIC going to your promotions & there's a new TRAFFIC getting program that's just been released AUTO TRAFFIC AVALANCHE which works like gang-bursters! {find link bellow}
This is my own little system & it works for me. Anyone can copy this & get GREAT results!
All the best, Robbie Griffiths

ANSWER:
Besides Traffic Geyser, there is a free service called Tube Mogul. It works in much the same way. Additionally there is a software package I found called Tube Mastery (http://www.websitemarketingskills.com/recommends/TubeMastery) which works really well in terms of how to market on YouTube. The same basic information is true on the other sites, as well. Use your profile page to link to your site and use calls to action to get people to respond. I would just buy that program and familiarize yourself with it.

QUESTION:
how do I know what niche to start with?
I just started out in the affiliate marketing field. I am not sure where to start. Please any suggestions would be great!!!-
ANSWER:
Dear Neva,Start with what you are most in to in the long term, something you've always been interested in.
A name for your business or website would be nice. I use my name, but there were more than one Diane Jensens online, so I chose three names, Diane Neill Jensen. There's only one of me out there so far.
Set up a blog. I use GoDaddy, but there are others who host sites.
You will want the "paid" version of WordPress, go to your hosting site with your business name and get a one-year blog site with your own domain. Mine is http://DianeNeillJensen.com
Now, choose an affiliate site that offers what items that can go along with your favorite topic.
Start writing about your topic, get at least 10 informative articles on your site.
To promote, join Twitter and Facebook.
For finding people who might want to purchase your products, find niche markets within those venues where there are people actively participating with Twitter and Facebook, and start letting them know what you have, that you can answer their questions, etc.
How's that for a start?
Good luck. Let me know what else you need to know.

QUESTION:
how to get strong back links to my site?
i have a website call http://www.goofblogger.com and i want to get it rank high so i thing i may need some strong back links where can i get some?
my niche is Affiliate Marketing-
ANSWER:
Well you could start by finalizing the site. I immediately see "To customize this message, please go to your Admin panel and find Presentation->Theme Options. Modify at will!" when I open the page (on the right). Here are my other observations:
- irrelevant home page title
- way too many meta keywords
- no meta description
- full text articles all on the same page: this is bad for humans as well as for SEO; use excerpts or summaries
- as with the keywords, you use too many tags that it looks more like keyword stuffing
- your incoming link policy is kind of strange; of course I didn't see its evolution but it may be perceived as spammingYou need to address these points before doing anything else.
Then you can check http://solutions.my-ai.com/how-do-i-get-traffic-to-my-site/

QUESTION:
What is sufficient and comprehensive enough in a Internet Marketing Package?
I'm in the midst of creating a NICHE, informative, cheap and practical internet marketing package. It includes, how to create your own products, website creation, become master affiliate marketers, proven traffic generation tools, SEO tips, make real money online, etc...My question is how much would you pay for such a comprehensive package ? BTW also give me your comments on what else should be included in the package and I'll see to it.
-
ANSWER:
A little late for the NICHE. I'm not trying to rain on your parade.
appreciate my candor. There are so many available now, your first hurdle is ranking up there for visibility. But before you do so, do some more homework on competitive price / service analysis; stand alone packages, and various bundled versions of complimenting tools.
A great way is to create your blog, the most effective medium to gain some trust first, definitely an RSS from your site with meaningful tips to drive traffic to your services.
I wish you the best.

QUESTION:
Anyone Using a Build a Niche Store Software?
I am into affiliate marketing and I used to sell on eBay (so I know how to find hot niche products) so I am wondering if the build a niche store software is any good? Sounds good and I just came across an article that can show me how to use it. So if anyone is using it, please let me know.http://ezinearticles.com/?Build-a-Niche-Store-Review---Training-for-Newbies!&id=1038475
Thanks...
-
ANSWER:
With your experience you should be o.k... I know the person who designed the training, (and I went through it personally) so you are in good hands. Build a niche store has over 1000 members some are successful and some are not. The main reason not being successful is not knowing how to research that market, which you already know how to do, and the second is you need to know how to promote that site.

QUESTION:
Can I make some decent money with a website like this?
I've heard quite a bit about affiliate marketing. I might start an informational site, with good original content written by me. On the site, I'd have Google Adsense, and also some affiliate links to products related to the niche. If I can get some good traffic to the site, could I make some decent money with it?
-
ANSWER:
Depends what you mean by "decent" money. You need A LOT of traffic to make a nice amount with Adsense, you need 10,000's of visits just to make a few dollars.

QUESTION:
Deadbeat Super Affiliate help?
Affiliate marketing is brand new to me and I've got a few possibly silly questions after buying/reviewing Deadbeat Super Affiliate. Are you supposed to register as an affiliate with Amazon? or with Clickbank? or?
Amazon says they review and approve/reject your advertising site...so should you post the first article beFORE signing up with amazon?
Say I sign up for awesomereviews.com as my main domain. Would I then sign up for other domains for each niche like uggbootsarecool.com (linking back to the main one) and then different articles on those sites linking back? or Would I just create new databases on the main awesomereviews.com site for each niche?
I've never done anything like this and I think I have confused myself on exactly where to begin. I followed the steps in the Core Training, and I've purchased a domain (which has nothing to do with any niches...it's a music site for personal use) and I was about to sign up for a new domain with the first niche I wanted to try and link it back. Just not sure on which one to post my articles and where/when to sign up to start making sales.
Would I give the Amazon affiliate application form the url to my personal/music domain? or to my niche domain?
Why is a domain name 0-00 on enom.com but only .99 on Godaddy.com?
Does anyone recommend getting just a .com, or is it best to get .com, .net and .org if possible for each niche? OR do you get all three for the main site and then just link all niches back?Any sort of guidance would be graciously appreciated!
-
ANSWER:
Yes you are supposed to register with Amazon or clickbank in order to start your affiliate marketing career. They are the one who will pay you the commission. You can also register yourself to any other merchant that offer affiliate program for example comission junction, cj.com linkshare, linkshare.com etc.
Amazon is the easiest merchant to be accepted to its affiliate program.A simple web site will work.
If the purpose of the other website is just to linking back to your main website, then i don't think it is necessary to register for new domain.you can just create a blogspot, linkedin, stumbleupon, reddit, weebly, hubpages, ezinearticle etc. to link your main domain. However you have to achor text your main domain in each of your newly created account on each site i mentioned.
Domain name is expensive due to high demand. for example domain name like makemoneyonline.com is for sure of high demand. In fact the domain is owned by other people and the price is determined by the owner of the domain... On the other hands, Godaddy is cheaper because your are going to register a domain which has not previously registered.
.net .org is also working..

QUESTION:
Website help. Marketing affiliates etc?
I'm about to launch a classified websiteMy business adviser is through the enterprise but he is not an (IT) expert
I have purchased the domain name for my classified site with go daddy and the site is about ready to upload to the servers, I was wondering if anyone can kindly offer me some help on how to make a good amount of income from this website and how to best market it etc.
I have a Google Adsense account, plus Bidvertiser and I'm now an affiliate for commission junction and Clickbank.I am willing to join any other affiliates ppc advertising etc to enhance/boost revenue.
I have already seen leads in my cj account from another website I have that is a niche community site that has been going for just over a year and has 765 members to date. Its kind of like a mini Myspace/Faceparty with the option for members to upgrade their accounts to premium.profile uploading, pictures videos blogs etc
I am very enthusiastic flexible and learn quickly.
Below is a link of the sort of website I am going to launch
http://www.shoofi-mafi.com/en/index.php
Obviously my site will be for midlands (uk) members but the above link is an idea of how the site should look and feel.
I shall also be adding forums for members to interact more and so enables me to build up an email database for newsletters
I shall be offering incentives to advertise by way of cash prizes this way hopefully boosting my traffic to the site
I'm fed up of trying to search for IT help just to be told to click on links to peoples sites which is obviously in hope that you will click their ppc adverts or buy an expensive ebook from them and gain them money.
Please could someone train and mentor me to success, (IF) I can only make a small amount of money from this one site I am prepared to copy the idea to other areas of the UK to gain more revenue.the sky is the limit
Thanks for reading this article and please buzz me for advice and if you would like to be my mentor.
I look forward to hearing from you savvy clever IT folk in helping me on this journey
Does anyone know if its possible to make a reasonable living just off one or two of these types of websites if the marketing is done correctly etc
thank you for your time
Kind regards
ok. to all the people commenting that are leaving links to their sites please stop!!look at this section here i wrote in my original message
I'm fed up of trying to search for IT help just to be told to click on links to peoples sites which is obviously in hope that you will click their ppc adverts or buy an expensive ebook from them and gain them money.
And i am truly fed up with this!!
let me explain again the sort of answers i would like,
very simple this!
i would like someone to say for example, " ok listen if you go here and grab a bit of code from this affiliate then put it here in your website and generate traffic you will make x amount"
not just random links to peoples sites making money from adsense and their own affailate sites.
i hope this is clear enough.
i would like to know info on places such as e-business club and other sites that offer free advice and do not ask you to get your credit card out at the end of the blog/forum landing page etc. thank you..
i have also tried the spiderweb and it is not for me because they do actually ask for money to buy a domain and basically unless you do there is not much chance of making any moneyi am doing my own website but it is only for one area and not globally, its a classified site for the midlands area, no point in people posting info and adverts from usa because it is too far away etc.
plus i would like to avoid scams so if anyone can give advice there, please help in these questions i have posted
thanks
-
ANSWER:
Online classifieds are a very competitive niche. I'd recommend that you use traditional advertising to generate traffic locally, then grow from there nationally using print classifieds. For a relatively small fee you can advertise nationally using classifieds. Because you are going to have a broad range of products or topics to promote, your central message will likely have to be "onine classifieds" or "free classifieds", instead of a specific product.
Then from there build your site awareness. You've got your work cut out for you. However if you have the resources hire an outside firm to handle your marketing. However, your in a profitable business model if you can grow your site's popularity.

How do I create a microfinancing website?
I have a niche market that I would like to help out. I don't want to finance them myself - I can't afford to. So I'm not looking to be referred to Kiva, etc. I would like to be able to our online community fund each other's projects. Is there any software available? Or any co-branding opportunities? QUESTION:
A Niche Store???
is there anyway I can loose lots of money doing this? Is it easy to set up ? or very complicated? does this affiliate marketing only apply to the ebay sites or amazon etc also. and is it really worth doing?-
ANSWER:
It really easy to set a niche store and have it up and running, that is why so many people fall for this kind of easy to set and run type of business models.Of course with time and much research and learning you can be able to master the techniques and ways to attract targeted visitors that visit your store.
My own opinion is that you will be better off if you first commit yourself to learning more about affiliate marketing and how to design and attract and warm up your visitors who you then presell to so much so that you are able to refer them to your niche store with a ready mind set to buy your products or services.

QUESTION:
what are the easiest affiliate products to promote if you're just starting out?
Hi everybody,I've been bitten by the making money online bug and I'm dipping my toe into the water. I've joined commission junction affiliate network and I am browsing through all the products that are out there. Obviously, there are certain niches I feel more comfortable promoting but I'm afraid that it wouldn't generate enough commissions to cover my overhead. I have a few questions for all you affiliate marketing wizards out there.
1.) what are the easiest affiliate products to promote if you're just starting out
2.) What are some of the easiest and cost-effective ways to generate qualified traffic, and is search engine marketing still a good way to bring traffic or do you absolutely need to have a landing page?
Any other tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. Serious inquiries please. Thank you so much in advance
-
ANSWER:
Hi there,Here are answers to your questions:
1. The first thing you'd like to consider in choosing an affiliate program is to look at whether it is profitable. Of course, you'd think it's better to promote something you have an interest in but if no one wants to buy it, then it's not worth your time and effort.
Clickbank is an affiliate network that you may want to check. There are a lot of products you can promote with good affiliate programs. You can determine which ones are profitable based on the gravity rating.
2. No, you don't need to have a landing page or a website. Here are recommended ways you can promote products without a site:
- Post on blogs and forums and include your affiliate link. Do not submit useless posts so you won't be accused of spamming. If you are a valuable contributor, people are more likely to click on your links.
- Write an ebook that contains your affiliate links and give it away for free.
- Write ads on classified sites to promote products.
- Build a Squidoo lens
Hope that helps.

QUESTION:
What Internet marketing methods do you use?
I have been trying to make a living at Internet marketing for the past 7 or so months and I can't seem to get it right. I have 3 niche websites right now that I promote affiliate products on. Last month the most that one of the websites brought in for sales was 0, the other two brought in 0 and .I really survive on less than 0 a month, so it looks like I need some help bad. I was laid off from my job which is why I started Internet marketing. I am really now contemplating looking for a 9-5 job again as this is not working out.
Can someone please let me know what Internet marketing methods they use and how successful they have been? I really need this!
-
ANSWER:
There are several Internet marketing methods that are successful, but I have found that you can't just limit yourself to one. You have to do more than just one method to get traffic to your site and make money. The methods that I use are article marketing, building an opt-in email list, utilizing social media sites, and building backlinks. For article marketing I try to put up at least 1-2 articles a week for each one of my sites. Some of my earlier sites now have almost 100 articles written (which is great for backlinks) and I am really seeing the money from those earlier sites start to come in. You say that you have only been doing this for 7 months, just know that it does take time. It can take up to a year to really see the traffic start pouring in and to start really seeing the money.
Another thing to remember is the proper picking of your keywords. Make sure you are building your backlinks for the keywords that you want your site to be ranked for. For example, if you have a website on dog training, you may want the keywords dog training, dog trainer, train dog, and dog obedience. You would need to pick the most profitable keywords that you find for your website's niche. Simply researching which ones will get you ranked quicker is the best way to go about picking your keywords.
I was completely lost when it came to Internet marketing methods when I first started about 2 years ago. Fortunately a friend told me about Matt Bacak, who has some awesome info on Internet marketing and what you should be doing. Check out his site and you can subscribe to his Internet Marketing newsletter that is a great source. www.mattbacak.com.

QUESTION:
How effective is marketing on Twitter?
All I keep hearing about is Twitter this and Twitter that. I have a couple of niche websites that I make money from affiliate products on as well as two blogs, and I have not set up a Twitter account yet. I just want to make sure that I am not wasting my time with it. I am busy enough as it is and if marketing on Twitter is not going to make me money, then I'm not going to bother. So, has anybody seen a real increase in revenue from marketing on Twitter?-
ANSWER:
I have been on Twitter for about 8 months now but I don't do much marketing per say on it. I actually follow Matt Bacak and his work and I have learned from him that marketing on Twitter is not as effective as people think it is. There are so many people that claim that social media increases income and is such a great marketing tool, but being on Twitter I have not seen the income I have generated come from that site. My income still comes from my mailing list and organic traffic.
According to Matt Bacak, Twitter is a good networking tool, but the fundamentals like article marketing and pay-per-click are the marketing tools that are going to get you the money. I usually use Twitter to make networking connections for jobs and things of that nature or find new people to follow that are interesting, whether for personal or professional reasons.
My Twitter is not for marketing at all and it is definitely ok that you don't have a Twitter account. I would check out what Matt Bacak says about marketing on Twitter (www.mattbacak.com) as it makes so much sense when he says to stick to the basics and you will see money.

QUESTION:
I have a teen business question?
Hello. I have been stressing myself out with starting a business. I keep coming across different approaches to make money online, but I can't choose one. I might end up making niche websites and putting ads and affiliate marketing online. The real issue is, I've come across so many things that say I can make six figures a year, that my mind now says I will make six figures a year, when I'm a teen.
Should I worry about starting this business, or should I worry about getting good grades to have a good job after college that will pay six figures? Is this online business thing going anywhere?
-
ANSWER:
Stay away from websites promising "six figures" in profits.. it's all SCAMS... just think about it, if it were that easy nobody would be flipping burgers.Just start with something you really like and keep your expectations real. Start small, don't rush, and even if you fail you'll learn from it.
And of course keep working on good grades and go to college.

QUESTION:
I dont really know what my 'niche' is?
I'm 29 and i feel like i dont know who i am as far as work goes. I work at a publishing company, been there 4 years. We're affiliated with a well known university. we publish products for MBA programs and training products for corporations. I was in customer service 2 yrs, got promoted, then i took a new position in the higer ed sales dept because there's only so many places to go in cust serv. NOw i've been in higer ed for 2 years. I'm the sales coordinator and sometimes it feels like no gives a crap about me. The people i work with all have regions that they sell to, i basically support them with what they need and do some inside sales, but i dont get commission. Recently some new things were added to my job description, i'll have more things that i 'own' rather than mainly catering to everyone else. I do basically what no one else wants to do, including event planning. I'm in school for my masters. I work with marketing also, what else could i do with this experience? Thoughts?-
ANSWER:
Apply at another publisher or stick it out until you get your MBA then move on. Business is pretty cut throat so don't feel bad that no one gives a crap about you. That's normal.

QUESTION:
Is blogging a bad way to make money?
I'm starting to think, after 18 months, that blogging is a horrible way to make money. My ROI in terms of time and money spent is almost nil. I make pennies on adsense and that's it.So the problem. I'm at a crossroads. I have about 200 subscribers, PR 3, and about 200 visitors per day and I'm thinking about scaling up the blog. Adding a forum, writing an ebook in exchange for email and name, using aweber to build an email list, affiliate marketing, etc, go nuts basically. But this niche does not allow me to show myself, pics, videos because it could hurt me in the 'real world'. So I feel limited.
So I have a choice start all over with a new blog project in a different niche were it is ok (i.e. socially acceptable) to show myself and not worry about hiring/job problems or something later and have the ability to brand myself. And I'd like to select a bigger niche with more potential.
OR
Say screw it and go in a completely opposite direction and go to ebay and amazon and try retail (although given the economic state who knows).
Man I am frustrated. Your detailed thoughts please.
I have a full time day job.I'm looking for supplemental income...
Please no spam.

QUESTION:
How do you setup your own affiliate program, having others market your business in return for a set percentage?
We have a small online business, it's very much a niche business related to domain names - not selling them by the way. Anyway, business was great when it started initially as we were the only non-domain register affiliated service out there (and still are) but very quiet now - we did very little advertising initially and really pretty much none after that.We run it basically as a hobby but it does have potential. So, we're thinking - we charge x for our service, we setup some type of coupon code system with a unique code for each affiliate, the customer gets lets say 10% off when they arrive at the site and enter the code to purchase our service, we can then track which affiliate gets how much. We're thinking generous commissions of say 50% on the net take. Would something like that work? Never tried anything like it so just wondering? By the way we have a service which folks absolutely have to use - if not from us from someone else but we are quite literally the cheapest such service on the net, problem is we don't advertise and we don't advertise because we don't get the business....a loop, lol. Thanks.

places like Commission Junction (if it still exists) (or other affiliate directory sites) can help you set up your own affiliate program - it costs money thoughwhy would you give away 50% of your profit? - you can probably get just as many affiliates with a 10-20% commission
look on those Affiliate directory sites and see if there are any similar businesses out there and see if they show how many affiliates they actually have and what kind of commission they pay

QUESTION:
Writing the content for you site?
I am wanting to learn affiliate marketing and know that I need to create a website to do this.
Questions: Has anyone used Site build It to make an affiliate website?
Say for example that I find a niche (not that I really know how to do that yet...) but it's not something that I know alot about how do write the content that is quality? Can I find it for free on the net from articles and if so can I reuse someone elses work without getting in trouble? I'm just a bit confused and still trying to figure all this out. Some help would be great.-
ANSWER:
Affiliate marketing has a lot of pluses and minuses. You really need to educate yourself in this. Site Build It is a good site, but you might want to just put in your browser "affiliate website". This should bring up a lot of possibilities and I would suggest Dr. Wilson and Web Marketing. Both offer solid advice. There is a woman who has made a lot doing this and has written a book - I have not read it but it is highly promoted by a lot of the "gurus". You have to learn how to track all of your affiliates too so you are not cheated and also make sure they have a high page rank before you associate yourself with them. An affiliate website is probably going to be a duplicate of what they have or if you are building your own site and want to link to them you have to be very careful as it can draw away from what you sell and hurt your rating also. If you are building a directory of only affiliates then you might consider selling advertising space and again this is tricky. My advice to you is to read all you can about this before you jump in. Remember website structure can make or break you no matter how good the product.

QUESTION:
For those of you who have online businesses, what method do you use to accept online orders?
I mean, which company do you use? I'm searching for an online payment processing company.I tried my personal bank for a merchant account, lots of hoops to jump through there. And, yes, I do plan to also let customers pay by PayPal. But for those customers that don't have Paypal, I want them to be able to use their credit cards to order something.
Somebody mentioned this great company to me, ClickBank, it's actually an affiliate marketing program, and it seemed like the perfect match, because their niche is digital products and that's exactly what I deal in. I contacted them to ask them a few questions, and they had no clue what they were talking about. Disappointing... (if anybody knows any alternatives to them that'd be great, I am not interested in the fact they are an affiliate program, I'm interested in the fact that they are an online payment processor)
So yeah. I really need some sort of method for processing credit cards on-site. What do you use?
Thank you so much!

ANSWER:
As a business owner, when you set up a merchant account to enable your customers the ability to pay for your products or services using credit cards (or debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard Logo), you will have some fees associated with the credit card transactions. The specific fee amounts that you pay will depend on the merchant account provider you select to provide your credit card processing service; however, there is a list of typical fees that the majority of providers charge business owners in exchange for the ability to accept credit as payment.
Discount Rates
Visa and MasterCard have what is called “interchange” rates. They range in price- so in order to make it easier, the merchant providers created three categories.
Qualified Discount Rate – a percentage is paid from each dollar charged.
Mid-Qualified Rate – does not apply to merchants that manually enter transactions.
Non-Qualified Rate – added to the qualified rate n certain transactions. Also get billed this higher rate if you don’t use address verification service (AVS) when you manually enter transactions.Other fees many merchant account providers charge their business customers include, but are not limited to the following:
Reward Cards- most merchant providers charge higher rates if the consumer pays using a reward card.
Transaction Fees- a specific, flat rate that is paid on every sale processed through the credit card processor. (Sometimes the transaction fee is called the interchange fee, authorization fee, or per inquiry fee).
Address Verification Service (AVS)- merchant account providers charge a small fee for the validation service to ensure that the billing address provided in the online checkout process matches the issuing bank’s records. Not using this service will result in hefty charges on the processing of the card for that sale.
Batch Fees- most merchant account providers require that customers close out their transactions a minimum of one time each day. The batch fee pays for expenses for the gateway or software that accesses the credit card processing network. If you don’t have transactions to process, there is no batch fee to pay.
Monthly Statement or Customer Service Fee – most merchant account providers charge a monthly fee in order to cover their monthly costs of operation (paying their customer service team for example).
Monthly Minimum Fee- some merchant account providers require you process a minimum amounts of sales per month, or you pay a monthly minimum. Monthly minimums tend to range between and per month.
Gateway Fees- for some merchant accounts, there are fees for internet and mail order merchants to use an internet gateway service such as Authorize.net, although some merchant providers will cover this fee on their customer’s behalf as part of the package deal. If you are solely an internet business, you’ll want to look for an internet merchant account that includes the gateway service as part of the package.
Annual Fees- often charged by merchant account providers- particularly the merchant account providers that offer free terminal equipment. There are numerous merchant account providers that do not charge an annual fee, so you may want to shop around if the first few you look at require an annual fee. Sometimes it would be cheaper to purchase the equipment than to pay an ongoing annual fee.
Cancellation/Termination Fees- Most merchant accounts require a contract agreement of one or two years and if you cancel early, you are likely to be charged a termination fee.
Chargeback/Retrieval Fees- When a customer requests a refund (or the customer’s credit card issuer requests a refund), merchant account providers typically charge a “chargeback” fee.

Thank You.

QUESTION:
Is this a good business idea?
Hi. I'm 15 and I want to start my own online company. I want to make real money (0-0 a day), not kid money. I don't want to start an affiliate marketing business, but I want to start an online service company of some sort. Reseller hosting is a very saturated industry so here are my other ideas.1. A digital music distribution/marketing company. There is a site called Tunecore which lets people sell their songs on iTunes. But for my company, we would find new bands/artists and provide that service for them. We would also provide a wide variety of marketing services. We could build band websites and market them on Facebook and other social networking sites. I could probably charge 0 for the site, and -0 per album placed on iTunes (they would keep 100% royalties, they only pay the one time fee).
2. I found a free web script that lets you create a website where bands/artists can create profiles, share their music, and listeners can rate, share, chat, follow, etc. It is sort of like purevolume.com, but aiming at a smaller niche of new bands and artists. We would make money from ads and affiliate products
.3. I've been looking, and they dont have websites that review bands. It might take a long time to write reviews though.
4. A website where people can buy and sell websites/domains. Like flippa.com, but I'm positive the industry is not really saturated, and I could make some money. I would charge a fee if the transaction is successful.
5. Lots of phone review sites go a lot into depth about phones, that it sometimes can be confusing. I have gotten a lot of feedback from elders saying that people in the phone stores are useless. I was thinking of making a site that reviews cell phones, but just gets to the point (who the phone is for, best features, pros, cons, final recommendation).
What other things could I do to make a lot of money (0-0 a day) online? Are any of my ideas good? Please don't say I should't post ideas on YahooAnswers, because i just want some feedback. I really want to know how to make a lot of money online.
